Am so glad to take part in this contest and I hope to learn as well.

Now I thought about this topic what do I do to make a kid think faster and smarter.

And the very first thing that came to my mind was if this kid was old enough to be in this class.

That implies that if he is not up to that age or his brain has not developed to that extent of grabbing what you are teaching him or her then there is no way he or she can be on the same track with you or his or her mates.

So in this situation what a teacher needs to do is to first, be patient with the kid.

Try as possible to maintain a cordial relationship with the child. And try not to scare the child or make him see himself as a failure or he will shy away.

Use good and correct instructional material and teaching aids to help the child and you as the teacher understand the steps to follow to achieve your goal.

Also, use the play-way method in teaching the child as in rhymes, songs to mention but a few.

This is very important, as the teacher try your best to show the child you love and care about him or her.

And this will boost your teaching process and the teacher I guess will be eager to learn.

Pray for the child and try your best to encourage the kid in his education process.

Also, talk to the parents of the child on the case they can help with some information that will guide you on how to train the child.
