Hello friends steemkids may we always be in good health and happy always. In today's post I want to share a little of my activities and the children at the school where I teach, hopefully be a good material to read and of course useful.
As I've published in previous posts, I once taught my first daughter about making an arts craft. Craft in the form of art that is meant is the art of sticking paper media, wood, leaves and the like on a plain image. So that the image has a color in accordance with the material we use, and of course artistic value. It's as if this media patch seems to have an interesting dimension. This collage art was taught in the 4th grade of elementary school, such as in the class where I taught and also my daughter's class. Here's a link to the post when I guide girls to create collage art :

Today upon entering the subjects of Arts and Skills, I again guided my students in making Collage Art. This collage art uses origami paper media that is cut according to the wishes of my students, can be with a round shape, length, cube over just as they want. The picture that will be pasted is the same as when I guided my daughter, which is a picture of a sunflower. Before guiding them, I have prepared the materials needed, they just worked. These materials, among others,
- Plain sunflower pictorial paper
- Origami paper with different colors.
- Glue or paper adhesive
- Scissors or Paper-wrapping
In doing it I divide children into several groups, this is necessary so that they remain calm and orderly when working on it. All the necessary materials are placed in every group I share, so that they can work together without having to create noise in the classroom. For this activity I divide 6 groups consisting of 3 to 4 people each group. In total there are 20 students who work on and learn the art of this collage.
Next I handed out a paper containing a picture of a plain sunflower to all students, followed by giving them the other materials they needed. At the time of the work they were very enthusiastic and very excited in working on it. All forms of their creations do both the form of paper used, and the color they will paste later. The lesson that lasted for 1 hour and a half went very well, they were very happy in working. I myself continue to monitor and guide students in their implementation, this aims so that all forms of questions and suggestions they can convey directly.
One by one the plain image is filled with pieces of paper, students fill the picture of the plain sunflower with a color that suits their wishes. Some look neat, some still look less neat. But this can be understood because this is the first experience they do, especially they are still the adjustment stage. But as the Master who guides them, I still appreciate and praise whatever results they make.
But it is very unfortunate, after the lesson time has run out. Only a few children can complete perfectly the art of this collage, some are only half the workmanship. But to appreciate the unfinished work of students, I give the relaxation of completion time to those who have not finished. The plan for the unfinished, can rework tomorrow, when The Arts Subjects and skills are re-set.

So my post today with children in my school, hopefully many children out there who are passionate in seeking knowledge. At the same time continue to work even though the results are not as expected, but with effort and continue to try I am sure to get the results expected.
