Hello friends and families of the great community, I hope that we are all doing great, my exams which is junior NECO has commenced and this is one week gone, we still have a week and one day to finish up the examination.

Interesting lessons are going on here in the community and I will try my utmost best to follow all the lessons, I will be partaking in the assignment by teacher @udyliciouz who taught us the means of transportation, the meaning of transportation.
I have learnt this subject just recently as we were about to write our NECO Examination it is a very interesting topic in the subject, the lesson is also self-explanatory.

WHAT IS TRANSPORTATION

Well to the best of my knowledge transportation is the movement of passengers, goods and services from one place to another. For example carrying tomatoes in a truck to the market to supply. Services can also be transported, for example you buy a sewing machine, and the company sends someone to service it for you.

WHAT WAS THE OLDEST MEANS OD TRANSPORTATION?

The oldest means of Transportation is water, because In those days, it was by sea that the explorers and missionaries travelled, and that was the route they usually take slaves.

MENTION FOUR WAYS TO TRANSPORT YOURSELF BY SEA?

You can do so through ferries, boats, ships and canoes and many more methods

ADVANTAGE OF TRANSPORTATION BY SEA

• It is cheap

• It can be used to carry bulky goods

• It doesn't require much maintenance

• It is environmental friendly

Disadvantages of transportation by land

• It requires lots of care and maintenance

• it is very slow

• It cannot carry bulky goods

• It is not suitable for carrying goods to long distances.

• it has a lack of organization

Which of these means of transportation have you ever used?

Well I have use the land and the sea transport before, but I mostly use the land. My first time using sea transport was pretty scary, we used a canoe, as we were being transported I felt like I was going to sink, but I didn't,after a while it got normal and I could touch the water. It was truly really fun, I didn't want to come of it.

Conclusion,

This is a very important lesson and I that all needs to know and once again thanks for the lesson.
