Hello dear kiddies, it's @fortwis09 again and she is back with her usual weekly posts on the Social studies lesson, as i continue to learn here i still enhance my knowledge, this week's lesson is on environmental problems, causes, effects and solution.

So here is my assignment teacher

What is an environmental problem?

An environmental problem refers to the state in which the law and order of the ecosystem are collapsed, as the ecological function it already had is destroyed due to human activities.
These are effect of human decisions on the physical environment.

State kinds of environmental problems

  • Climate change

  • Global warming

  • Depletion of the ozone layer

  • Water pollution

  • Air pollution

  • Solid waste management

  • Deforestation

  • Overpopulation

What are the causes of environmental problems

Population expansion, overconsumption, overexploitation, pollution and deforestation are Some of the activities that harm the environment on a global scale.

  • Land disturbance

  • Pollution

  • Natural causes such as earthquakes, avalanches, tsunamis, tidal waves storms and wildfires can totally crush animal and at group to the point where they can no longer survive in those areas.

What are the effects of environmental problems to us and our nation

  • Impact on human health: humans health might be in the receiving end as a result of environmental problems. Areas exposed to toxic air can cause respiratory problems such as pneumonia and asthma.

  • Loss of biodiversity

  • Ozone layer depletion

  • Economic impact

  • loss for the tourism industry

How could we tackle or solve environmental problems

  • Stop deforestation

  • Government regulation

  • Fines and punishment for irregular dumping

  • Reduce consumption level

  • Reuse and reduce waste generation

  • Avoid plastic

  • Education: it is important that children know about the causes of different environmental problems and learnt to avoid them.
