Steemkids Talent Hunt Season 1|| Showcase Your Talent by @goodybest

Good evening dear members of steam kids I trust everyone is great and your weekend is going on perfectly as planned! mine is awesome and I hope it will continue like this.

Nurturing a child creative mind is so important, in fact it is as important as playing outdoors. creative side will help your kids to develop their sensory stimulation, imagination and fine gross motor skills. it gives them a sense of pride to do things themselves.

Craft projects have an amazing effect on kids, it helps them to learn concentration and patience and encourages free problem-solving attitude and free thinking. Crafts making is normally incredibly relaxing, social and fun when doing it in a group. It was a great way for me to work and share my ideas with this lovely kids, they were exploring materials. I constantly encourage my kids to be creative it no matter their age I involved myself and they love it that they work and spend your time with me.

For this contest I decided to work with my two lovely kids Jahofon 3+, Fortune2 and my neighbor's daughter princess 2+ years, to make some DIY crafts using cardboards. It was super fun and they were so excited after we crafted out their hands.

But they were even more awe after using shapes to create geometric figures, jet and letter sound.

MATERIALS NEEDED:

• Cardboards
• Color paper
• Glue cum
• Color pen
• Cutter
• Pencil
• Correction fluid
• Scissors

PROCEDURE FOR GEOMETRIC FIGURE:

• Cut out your shapes - Square, circle, triangle, crescent and rectangle.

• place the square first
• put the glue cum on the circle and cum with the square to form head
• put the triangle as nose
• cum the crescent as chin
• use the correction fluid to draw the white eyes
• paste the small circles as eyes 👀
• the rectangles as hands and legs
