In today's contest, I have brought a clay creation to share. This clay thing is very delicate, but so cute. Girls like this kind of things in their room. This is made by my daughter and I am sharing it with you.
This is called a jewelry saucer. Any delicate decoration piece that girls can decorate their jewelry with looks cute in the room. When my daughter told me about her attempt to make a plate with clay, I was so excited. Started taking step by step pictures. Because it was a good effort.
My daughter is very fond of playing with clay and keeps making different things with
clay. Also, I have brought this plate of decoration made by her in front of you.

Making dough with powder

First, add a little water to the dry soil and knead it into a dough. And it will be softened so much that when we don't want to bend it in any shape, it will bend easily. Otherwise the edges of everything we make will fray and tear.

Spread the dough and make shape

The second task is to roll the dough so thin that when we place any of these stencils on top of it, it will be trace. By which the she use the leaves of money plant and fine veins of the leaf were trace on the soil. She cut off the remaining extra clay and smoothed the edges.

Dry

Now dry it in sun light.

Colour

Now paint it any colour you want. As my daughter is only 12 years old, she loves bright colors. She chose orange as her favorite color.

Again dry

Now again dry it in sunlight.

Ready

Smart jewelry saucer is ready.
