Hi everyone it's a good day, and it's cool to be here to enumerate forms of child abuse that are very rampant in my locality. Thank you @steemkidss for such a thoughtful topic at this time it seems as if child abuse is on the increase locally and even globally. It's a pity to say that kids are molesed daily in one form or the other, whether we acknowledge it or not.
I would like to start by asking us questions;

• Who is a child ?
  A child can be defined as an under aged human being from the time of birth to 18 years of age, according to government stipulated laws but different from country to country.

• What is child abuse?
  Abuse in my own understanding is the negative treatment given to any body, but in this contest, I'm concerned with an under aged kid, male or female who are unable to defend themselves because they do not know the resultant effects of the actions being carried out on them at that moment because of the navity of growing up.

LIST THEM OUT

Actually in my locality the list of abuse is inexhaustible, abusive behaviours and actions are on the increase. Examples of Abuse are

*Negative language usage.
Many adults abuse kids by the way they talk to them regularly. Most times cursive words are used because they know the kid might not retaliate or reply because they're still young and under their care without which no other can offer cares to the kid.

*Herculean tasks being mated on a kid.

A kid sent out to carry wares on his or her head, running up and down the streets, roads and market in a bid to sell and make money, it's not recommendable at all. A growing kid does not need to make the money with which to raise him or her up in life.

*Having sexual intercourse with an under aged female kid.

A kid is assaulted when a fully grown adult planned and lured the female kid in to have carnal knowledge of her at under age stage of her life. I heard a story of a school teacher 35years of age, who had a carnal knowledge of a 2 years old female kindergarten pupil in his class severally. The kid started crying and avoiding her mother bathing her in that region of her body at home, the mom noticed it and asked her, tell me what happened to you here pointing at it? She said uncle, uncle put his wee wee thing there, that was how the mother started the investigation and he was arrested and confessions made to affirm it. He is in prison now.

*Starvation to a kid because of one wrong doing or the other.

Many children are carefully starved by their caregivers or even their biological parents, you may not believe it but it really do happen.
Maybe a kid is playing and forgot or refuse to go on an errand, the mother or caregiver will punish the kid by starvation.

*Locking a kid in a dog's cage with chains.

The other time we read about a woman who locked her maid without eating any food, in her dog's iron cage with chains, the kid is also her niece just because she doesn't want the kid to move around in the neighborhood. This happened live in Lagos state, Nigeria.

*A biological father having canal knowledge of his 3 biological under aged daughters.

A father having canal knowledge of his own 3 biological under aged daughters. He carefully divorced his wife, chased her away from their home and started having carnal knowledge of his own 3 biological under aged daughters one after the other, the eldest of the kids was only 15 years of age. Until the youngest who was 8 years old could not bear the humiliation any more, she on her own ran to the police station and narrated their ordeals with their father for many years to a police officer, who mobilised his men they arrested the man and he consented to it.
The man is in prison now because he was jailed.
Wonders of the age !!!!.

*A heartless mother's reaction to her own daughter.

A woman recently was reported and arrested for pouring hot and boiled water on her own daughter of 8 years old because she refused to pound some cooking ingredients for the mother on a mortar with pestle while she was cooking the family meals. The kid's whole body peeled off immediately, the police arrested the mother while the kid is under going the excruciating pains associated with the affliction in the hospital bed, who knows how long it will take her to be healed.

WHO IS AT RISK

Abuse happens to both female and male kids, both are at risk. But female kids are mostly affected. A female kid is at the risk of being assaulted sexually, most times she end up being gang raped even to death. Reasons being that kids are naive about how these bad people twist issues just to lure them to their wicked acts.

THE EFFECTS ON KIDS AND HOW KIDS CAN AVOID THEM

The effects are so many;

*Fear on the kids.

*Kids become very reserved to themselves.

*Kids feeling hated and unaccepted to others.

*Kids being intimidated to other lives issues .

*Some kids have actually died in the processor of all the afore mentioned actions and deceit.

*Some kids has been affected negatively on how they see people, things and on how they go about their lives even when grown up.

• Some female kids had refused to get married when they grow up mostly if it was a trusted, close person that had negatively done this horrible things against their will.

• Some kids have become disabled in the process of being ruff handled by their superior, be it a relative or guardians. I know of a kid who became blind forever by the use of leather belt the elder brother was flugging him with, it went straight to one of his eyes on the process there was no remedy again to save his sight, the kid became blind in one of his eyes.

HOW CAN KIDS AVOID OR MINIMISE THEM

Kids are just young individuals growing up to become adults in the near future, for that reason they are naive about so many things in life. Proper adults need to guide, teach and direct them accordingly and accurately about living and lives issues. We the adults should be patient with our kids at all times, kids can make mistakes, yes but it is laid upon us the adults to direct, guide and make the kids know the best pattern of life to follow so that they will avoid victimisation from these hudlums.
Teaching the kids to report to us the adults they have trusted and loved will definitely help kids to avoid being victims. We the trusted and reliable adults should raise our kids or wards with love and supportive affections to make our kids able to be close to us and be our best friends.

CONCLUSION
