Idea about my bird origami

I was looking through some origami instructions on the internet and saw a diagram of a bird that I wanted to make. So I started folding the paper into a bird and it turned out really well!

Origami is a great way for kids to learn about geometry, structure, and mechanics. It’s also an enjoyable activity that can be done with friends or family. When kids are origamists, they learn how to solve problems creatively, think outside the box.

How useful is my bird origami ?

You can use your bird origami to decorate a room, or even make a toy! Some kids like to make models of animals and birds. Other kids use origami for educational purposes, such as learning about geometry or physics. It’s up to you what you do with your bird origami!

• Paper
• Pen

Steps i use to make a bird

• I start making a bird with paper by taking a small origami stranded page. And fold it on all of the four directions then i open the page and start folding it in other half of page which divide page into eight parts.

• Then i make a shape with one half of the page and do it on the other half as seen in the below picture.

• later on, I make a bow at the end of each corner by separating the edges and give it a clean shape.

• At last i make an eye of the bird with a pen.

Conclusion

Origami is important for teaching kids spatial reasoning and problem solving skills. It can help them understand the underlying principles of geometry and physics, which can lead to a deeper understanding of these disciplines.
