Diy: ME DRAWING MY SELF

INTRODUCTION

Hello my fellow steemians, how are you all doing. I hope you are having a good day. I want to participate in this contest which is diy contest.
I am going to show you guys how I went about in this contest. What I have is a drawing of myself. There is a particular of my pictures which I edited so I decided to draw it.

Below are the steps I used in drawing a picture of myself

Materials used

A4 paper
pencil
sharpener

Step 1

I began by preparing my necessary materials which I have listed above.

Step 2

I went ahead to draw the structure of the head In the picture then put in the eyebrows, then the eyes below the eyebrows. After the eyes I went on fixing in the nose. The nose really took my time because to draw a nose and let it look real is not easy at all. Then after the nose I want into another problem which is not bigger than the problem of the nose.

That was the mouth. As you can see In the picture he has a smiling face so I had to draw the mouth in a way it will make a smiling face on my picture. I had to curve the mouth well so it will look good.

Step 3

I was true with the head part, so I entered the part if the body. It was difficult o but I did it. As you can see in the original source, he is wearing polo and also a jacket, so I had to make the both show. I started by drawing the neck joining with the head, then I went ahead to draw the polo line at the neck, then I drew the shoulder line in the both side of the body. After that I drew the line to show that it is a jacket. This was the most difficult process because I had to make it a little like me.

Step 4

I started bolding the line of the drawing in order to make it more visible. After bolding it, I did the necessary shading which was required to make it look somehow real. I shade some part in the jacket to make it look folded, I also folded some part in the main polo to make it show the jacket shadow. Then I shade the down part of the mouth to make it nice, I shaded the middle part of the nose to look like it is high like normal nose.

CONCLUSION

I will love to invite some of my friends to join me participate in this contest which is all about do it yourself (diy)
