What is the meaning of co-education?

Co-education is said to be a system of education in which both the male and female students are taught together in the same School or classroom. It is a type of education that doesn't promotes gender segregation and it provides equal opportunities for both genders to learn together and interact with each other.

Which education you will prefer for your kids ? Coeducational centres or all boys /all girls educational centres?

To me, I'll prefer Co-educationover all boys/girls education center with the reason stated below.

How does Coeducational centres play role in developing personality of a child?

• Academic performance: Studies have prove that coeducation helps in improve academic performance, thats because it encourages competitions betwen students and gives wider range of ideas, reason and perspective.

• Preparing students mind for the real world: as is it in the real world, men and women work together in almost all field, Co-education helps to prepare students for this reality which will help provide them with the mentality of learning and work with members of the opposite sex.

• Social skills: Co-education plays a very important role helping students to develop better social skills as they learn to interact with members of the opposite gender and also
  help them become more confident and better in communication.

• preparing student mind for real world.

Co-education also have demerits like.

DEMERITS

• Distraction.

• lack of privacy.

• Peer pressure.
