Introduction

Good morning to all Steem Kids & parents family, it's another faithful morning to start our daily activities and schedules. I found an interesting contest titled My School Experience published in Steem Kids and Parent community.

School life and experiences can vary depending on individual, but there are some common general experience that many people share. Example it is mostly known that school is a place where they learn new things, make friends and form relationships with students and teachers. It is also a place of challenges, such as struggling with academics or fitting in with peers.

It a nice contest, so I'll love to use this opportunity to invite my friends @preshy001 @manuelhooks and @marynke to participate in this great contest.

How many days within the week did you go to school this week?

In Nigeria education system, it is usual that school days in a week is always Monday to Friday(5days), Applicable to all Government institution. Though in university classes are scheduled for each department and level, which may sometime result in skipping some days in the week. In my own case, I do have classes on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. Thursday is not included, but that doesn't mean there's no class for others in another department. So on that note, I do go to schools four days in a week so as to meet up my classes.

School related activities I engaged to enjoy school days.

Most time, there are many activities a student can participate in school. One of them can what you love doing or your hubbies, example engaging in a debate, engaging in quiz competition, sports or reading stories at leisure time.

I love participating in football game as my hubby, I do find pleasure participating in the game as it's most time a competition between my department and another department or within ourselves.
Playing this game with friends during school is a special type of joy for me. Not for fun but to participate in the game itself and also the social aspect of spending time with friends. This sometimes less my school stress.

The stress you faced due to school activities? Are They burdensome or you enjoyed them?

School stress is nothing to talk about as it's general for all students, one professor in Education by name "Plato" defined education as the capacity to feel pleasure and pains at the right moment. True I do find pleasure and at the same time pains as the professor declears.

A brief story about my academy and the stress.

I'm a student of University of uyo(Uniuyo), located in Akwa Ibom state, Nigeria. I wrote jamb one year ago fortunately got admitted to the mentioned institution which was one of my biggest prayer. Due to the past academy crises that occured two years ago(ASUU strike), it was very unfortunate that the strike lasted for more than 8months, which kept those who were supposed to graduate waiting and those who were yet to get admission.

Now to cover up, the Academic Staff Union of University (ASUU) came up with the idea of merge two academy session 2022/2023 to blend the past issues. The idea was very nice idea, thought it's in turn a big stress to the student who fall under the mention academy session. This is due to the much number of students clustering in a classrooms to receive lectures.

Most time due to the high number of students in a class it always very difficult to hear the voice of the lecturer in front, the heat is nothing to even talk about. In most cases the hall and chairs will filled up, students need to either seat in the floor or stand till the lecture is over. This discomfort make it burdensome to us, but with time we'll get used to the situation.

My expectation for the coming week and how I'm gonna achieve them

I have already scheduled how the coming week will be, the location to my school is a bid advance from my home. So after the recent exams we had I traveled back home to visit my parents and help them do some domestic and farm work. I'm hoping to return back this week Saturday by Jahs grace so I'll meet up my academy schedule next week.

In our department general Whatsapp group, most of the material for the next week resumption has been dropped, so I've gathered them and start read ahead classes. It gonna be a nice week🤩🥰.

Why I shouldn't miss any school day.

I learnt that missing school days can have negative consequences for students, missing school days lead to loss of learning. Even one day of missed instruction can put a student behind in their coursework and can affect a student's grades and academic performance.

Knowing this I promised not to miss any of my school days despite the challenge, graduating with good grade it my main target, so I'll do everything to maintain it.

In conclusion, as Plato defines education to be a capacity to feel pleasure and pains at the right moment, it very good to know that and prepare our minds towards the challenges. You education experience may be different from mind or any other person.
