Teachers Vs Parents. Who Is Responsible?

There’s a saying that charity begins at home, and that’s how we tend to live our lives these days. If a child has been well trained and educated, it will be proper to say he comes from a good home. The same goes for a child without discipline, regardless of what’s their background. In fact, because of such upbringing, that child should also be directed to a particular part of the area, where the person’s ethics and decent living skills are taught.

Back in the elementary school years, it was mostly my siblings who were successful and won best student awards in threetime. My eldest sibling, who is a boy, always appears to have won or at least shared the highest laurels in his class. Perhaps it is the joy of seeing our mother beaming with joy as she claps off our brother walking to the stage to receive his gifts that makes us like him so much.

There was a never a vacuum whatsoever. It is not the effect of what was said in the four walls of the classroom only but the lesson went further than that.

At the end of each session, which is not only the concern of regular assessment of our tasks, was directly or indirectly the awarding of textbooks for some magic time. When our performance was up to par, parents would buy us some basic textbooks on maths, English, quantitative verbal etc. Then she would teach us herself, until we had gone through the whole book from cover to cover.

When we returned to the following session, it would appear that we were simply revising what Mum had previously taught us in class, making it simpler to comprehend quickly. The approach was quite beneficial to us, and I believe it is highly successful.

There are other children who, as soon as the school day ends, drop their bags and rush out to the street to hang out until the next school day without any monitor or someone to advise them to at least do their homework or read some of the books. All these will substantially interfere with how children perform.

There are some children who may be less bright than others but on the other hand there are those who will be above average in intelligence.None of us have everything in life. However, the charge that one has as a teacher is to try as much as possible to transfer the knowledge to all the students and also to different levels. A teacher should never be too lenient because there are some bright students and neither should they be too hard because there are some slow learners as well. That’s the way of a teacher.

Most parents are left with no choice but to ensure that they understand the characters of their child in which case they try as much as possible to assist the child, make sure that the child does their reading and revision, does their assignments and then seeks feedback from their child on how they did on the tests and exams while making sure that there exist good rapport between child, teacher, and parents.

In conclusion
I also came across a story in which a father used to invite his child to come closer and even get spank the him books when and he read was them actually to trying him, to he answer. would This reprimish practice the has child therefore and gone a long way in making the child develop the culture of reading a lot of books. Then as the child grew up a little bit, he also came to understand that his father was not even literate. Still, he designed and made him think that he was. That's the way much influence the parents have on a child’s education.
