My chicken drawing (the kiwis chicken) 🐔🐔🐔🐔🐔

It's another new week of the interesting drawing contest initiated by @ngoenyi. This week we are asked to draw chicken and it's quite exciting to be participating today.
It's always fun to accept these sort of challenges and to see how good we are with drawing. Below you can see what I could get out from the drawing I started, I wanted to draw the @kiwiscanfly chicken and this is what I got.
It may look more or less like him but I'm happy that I accepted the challenge and participated.

Here below, I'll show you a few steps I took in making the drawing and I hope you follow through.

I started by drawing by the head of the children with the face with it.

Next I started to draw the body, including the hands and the wings too.

I concluded the drawing with the other parts of the body including the legs and the toes.

After that it was time to apply colors to it to make it more beautiful. I used three basic colors, red, orange and yellow.

I applied the colors carefully and at the right place for each one.

After the coloring, the drawing was finally done and here is how it turned out below:

Describe a chicken

A chicken is a domestic bird that lives with humans in their habitat.
They have a comb and two wattles which differentiates them from other birds. They have squat and rounded appearance.
The female chicken is called a hen and a male chicken a cock. The baby chicken is called a chick.

What do you like about a chicken?

When used as food, chickens are a healthy choice and a rich source of protein. I love the taste of it when it is fried or roasted.

Another thing I like about a chicken is their ability to care for their young ones and how they tend to their eggs carefully.

Have you seen one before? If yes, where?

Yes, chickens are domestic birds so they are seen around almost everywhere. Most people here rear chickens and they sell it in the market as well.

Are they important to man?

Chickens are important to humans because they provide companionship, food and fiber in form of egg, meat and feathers.

What do you like about steemit chicken?

The steemit chicken, @kiwiscanfly is really doing a great job in steemit. He organises promotions for steemit to help it grow. He is also known for organizing the highest power up promotion known as the SPUD4STEEM. Thus promotion has helped many steemians to grow their accounts and as well helped in the growth of steemit.
