Engaging in this contest gives us the opportunity to see and recount the benefits we have derived from being part of the Steemit network.

_{Steemit has the propensity to Educate}

I've been a Facebook user for a while and I've made a lot of post on Facebook. then I was told that there is a social media network that will give a reward for uploading quality posts. That was some 2 years ago. But that was not enough to have me signed up. Less than a month ago @udyliciouz came with Steemit and could provide some answers to my questions, so I signed in on the 6th of June.

The first thing I found interesting was the strict rule against piracy and plagiarism. We may be so familiar with illiteracy that we hardly notice it's half-brother aliteracy, a condition mitigated by Steemit's crack-down on plagiarism.
This encourages creativity, and the fact that there are a number of Communities interested in diverse subjects meant that I could develop a number of skills too. I knew I could draw but never looked at myself as an artist, or a lover of art, but the "World of Xpilar" and the APPICS Community" has ignited the love for photography, nature and art that were dormant in me. I can vividly remember how much I learnt when Steemalive set us up on a quest for a China shop. How I got to know what a China shop is, is a tell you may love to read about.

I have had to wrap a gift in a contest on paper crafts. You can click here to see it, I tried to explain the process and I guess the next person receiving a gift from me will surely have a feel of Steemit paper craft.
I have forged new friendships, device a means to communicate with friends who speak a verity if languages.

So, next time the administrator in a contest gives you the liberty to post in any language, it's because they have the technology to read it.
It's accomplishing some of this things that fills me with joy ever since I joined Steemit.

A big thankyou to steemkids and lots of gratitude to @ngoenyi for answering my endless questions as this has been a contributing factor to my development in the steemit Journey.
I wish to abide by the rules of all Steemit Communities, knowing that this will result in Clemence weather.
Because Steemit has so much to offer, I am expecting my boss, his wife and Mr. Nathan and two others to become steemians.
