Just as I view the steemit platform as a highly dynamic environment. To Steem successfully, I believe i also need a dynamic formula that changes with time and circumstances. This also applied to those I view as models on the platform.
I started my steemit journey with @ngoenyi and @focusnow who instructed me in the basics of steemit, as they groomed me, they were my mentors, model and inspiration. Then came @patjewell who's activities taught me that an individual can build and wield a measure of power and authority in the steemit platform.
At the moment, I am fascinated by the activities of @disconnect on the steemit platform. Though I can't really attach a gender to the brain behind the "Disconnected Rat" account, it's ability to provide such a valuable service to the platform has always attracted me to this Steemian.
The account was created May 2021, which is just one month before I joint Steemit June 2021. It was easy to see potentials in the activities of disconnected Rat, he could perceive the cheese where ever it was and collects all the contest links into his blog.
For this contest, I had to try getting more information about this special Steemian, but most things about my inspiration is shrouded in layers of mystery. I can't really be sure of what gender to use. So I just had to choose one. |

The entrepreneurial prowess of this Steemian with his ability to create a niche for himself on the platform by offering a service that is needed by users of the platform has been the main reason why I really consider this Steemian a model and a source of inspiration. In the beginning, he had to scout communities in search of Contest to place it's links on his blog. He even made contact with Steemians, directing us to the contest links on his blog. He knew how to locate contest like a disconnected Rat would locate cheese. Today, communities are taking their contest cheese to him and he has made a real corner for himself on the platform. His service solves a problem and has value.
I have never met this inspiring Steemian in person and a physical meeting is not feasible as it will require interstellar travel to a Black Hole in some distant Nebula located some light years away.
I will love to use the discord link I found to meet @disconnect. The agenda will be creative ideas and unexplored niches and opportunities on the platform believing that he can see better from his vantage point.
I tried to run an independent blog, one that is not under the shadows of any community. And so far it has been promising. To look more like this Steemian, I will have to create a niche for myself, coming up with something I will be known for. And I wish it is a service that addresses an existing problem or a pressing need.
That is the only way I can emulate this model of mine.

I tried digging for his achievement one, hoping to get details about him in it, so I went combing through thousands of post then at some point it stopped and I could not dig further.
I dug in to his application for curator hoping to see a link to his achievement post but could not.
