SEC14 WK:#3:🤷 My Perception About House Chores

Good day everyone, welcome to the week 3, season 14 of the Steemit Engagement Challenge. So this week, we are tasked to air out opinions on house chores, I will be doing justice to it, just follow me through.

House chores involves the minore daily routine activities we engage in inorder to keep our house and surroundings clean. They include ironing, sweeping, cooking and cleaning the surrounding. It must be a daily routine to be called a chore. And yes I enjoy doing my house chores.

The way I perceive house chores to be is; it should be done by each and every member of a household irrespective of age unless otherwise. House chores in big household should not just be limited to house helps but contributive effort by all the member of the family, infact team work makes house chores very easy to handle. Also, it is a necessity in a family because this is what keeps the family off sickness and groom the kids on the importance of team work

In my house and even my family house, I do a lot of house chores because I always like to see a need room and environment, so, these are some of the chores I do at home;

• Sweeping the floor

• Fetching water

• Weeding the surrounding

• Cooking

• Washing dishes

• Trashing the dirts

• Mopping the floor

• Dusting furnitures

• Laundry

So personally, I like sweeping and mopping the floor, I am not really a fan of cooking though I have started falling in love with it just of recent since I packed out of my family house but then I till prefer sweeping and mopping the floor because I love seeing my room well tidied and neat, seeing a well dressed bed gives me an unexplainable joy.

Also, I sweep my room and surrounding everyday and mop my room three times a week. I do this because I am a 9-5 worker and most of my time, I do spend it at work else I would be mopping it everyday. However, I can decide to mop everyday depending on the season we are in like this winter season we will be having much dust penetrating my room.

Personally to me, house chores help me stay away from being lazy, it keeps me busy whilst at home. Also, house chores helps keep my house and surroundings clean thereby helping me stay healthy because my room will not be infested with mosquitoes and other harmful insects.

Moreso, to my family, it promotes cordial bonding, where kids bond and tends to share their worries while their routine chores. Also, it promotes teamwork among family members, kids and parents will tend to work together inorder to achieve each task and put a helping hands to anyone that is unable to complete his or her task on time.

House chores are necessary routine activities, it should be done with all amount of seriousness and be sure to do it with an opened mind, this will help you grow in love with your sibblings as well as your parents.

Do not see chores to be punishment but as activities that prepares you towards independency, this will not only do it with your heart but with hope to also be established one day where you will be doing literally most of these things alone.
