Let's talk about family again today, but the focus of our conversation today is related to the impact of the economy on a family.

The price of goods has been on the rise lately, and anything you want to buy for the necessities of life has become very expensive. When the prices of all goods have risen, the salaries of workers such as civil servants, casual laborers, and other employees have not even increased at all. This certainly makes it more difficult for many people to provide for their families due to the impact of an unstable economy.

The impact of an unstable economy has an important influence on the good and bad of a family, the head of the family plays an important role as a leader to be able to support his family. Therefore, the head of the family must have a decent job in order to fulfill all the needs of his family members.

Even people who already have a decent job find it difficult due to the impact of an unstable economy, inevitably they have to look for additional jobs to be able to meet the needs of their family. Not to mention those who are in debt with the bank, their salaries have been cut a lot, so they have to add more loans to deal with conditions like today.

Then what about those who currently still do not have a decent job? Of course their struggle is more difficult. A few months ago on a news site I read information that there was one poor family consisting of a mother and her three children, the mother was willing to kill her three children because she could not afford to feed them, after killing her three children then the mother deliberately tore her stomach with a knife. A few days ago, I also witnessed a family living on the outskirts of a garbage dump, where the parents work every day looking for used items to sell. While their children eat from the leftover rice packets that people have thrown away, so difficult and sad is the fate of this family.

From all of the above, we can conclude that the impact of an unstable economy makes it difficult for many people to fulfill their family life, especially those who live below the poverty line, this condition is also no exception for people who have decent jobs. If this continues, more and more people will suffer.

The best solution that must be done in my opinion is that the government must immediately take wise and appropriate action in overcoming the impact of an unstable economy, because this economic problem can make many families living below the poverty line suffer even more because they are unable to meet the needs of their families.

The government is at the forefront in overcoming the stabilization of unstable economic prices, one of the solutions that I can offer is as follows:

• Price stabilization, the government has all the resources and influence that is large enough to create a stable economy, namely by trying hard to reduce the price of goods on the market so that they are not sold too expensive.

• Sale of cheap groceries, if only every village government could open the sale of cheap groceries for the poor, of course this would greatly help them in meeting their needs. The groceries sold can include rice, eggs, cooking oil and other necessities. The groceries sold should only be sold to people who are below the poverty line, so that the cheap goods are not bought by people who have a high income.

• Increasing human resources, the government should continue to strive to increase employment opportunities for its people, people who do not have the ability should be given job training so that they have skills that can be taken into account in the world of work. But is the government doing that? Even the education program designed by the government for 12 years has not been able to guarantee that someone is capable and ready to work.

• Increasing employee salaries, one of the efforts that can be made by the government is to increase salaries for civil servants, laborers, and employees. When the price of goods is too high, the government should consider increasing their salaries so that they do not need to look for other jobs to make ends meet.

A family will be able to fulfill all the needs of life if it has sufficient income, but lately those who have sufficient income also feel difficult because of the impact of an unstable economy, especially those who have no income. Therefore, we all no longer want that in the future there are families who have to kill their three children because they cannot afford to eat, we also do not want that in the future there are families who have to survive by working and living in garbage dumps, we also do not want in the future there are children from poor families who have to pick up leftover food that people throw away to eat. The government is the hope for millions of families living in its territory, therefore the government is expected to be able to keep economic prices stable.
