Introduction

Hello, steemian

Food is necessary for human living, we need food to have the energy to carry out our daily activities as human. I shall be sharing my participation in this contest, thanks to Steem Kid and parents for this Awesome contest tagged "Food Diary Game" in the SEC S6-W2.

Growing up as a young man, I never give much attention to learning how to cook, my mother always encourages me to learn but I give less attention to it. But when I leave home staying alone, buying food every day became frustrating and cost much. So I had to go back and learn a few recipes from my mum.

Read to see my basic recipes for my breakfast and dinner.


Briefly explain what the food is all about, why you chose that food, and the nutritional information. Which category does the food fall into (breakfast, lunch, or dinner).

BREAKFAST

For my breakfast, I mostly prepare light food, even though most times, I take tea for breakfast, but I prefer Pap for breakfast locally called "AKAMU" with milk and Groundnut cake called "KULIKULI" that was what I prepare this morning.


In northern Nigeria, this is the most common recipe we take for breakfast, It can either be taken with Beans Cake"AKARA" or bread but I prefer it with groundnut cake "KULIKULI". when I prepare it this morning as my mother thought me, It was so delicious and nutritious for the body. It discharges calories which give energy and vitamins [A, B5, B3, B1, and C], and also give folic acid, potassium, zinc, and magnesium which are important to the body system.

DINNER

I don't mostly consider Launch because I am always at the office so I can just buy any simple snacks and eat but I also take time to prepare my dinner sometimes. I like Rice and stew for dinner. Then accompanied with fruit to balance the diet.

This even my neighbour call me to assist her get some vegetable to prepare some fried rice. I got them for her and she prepared the rice. I sat and learn, all this years, i thought fried rice required the rice to be fried but i was suprise to see something different, i can't teach you know because i am still lerning. But i am gonna teach yiu when i becime pro. The fried Rice recipe is a delicious.

The rice is a carbohydrate food so I make sure I combine it with a little protein to mix up the diet. For today's recipe, my neighbour made my day with her delicious fried rice recipe.


Who prepared the food? If you are the one you can include the recipe and procedures in brief as well as the cost of the food in your local currency and steem.

I prepared the recipe myself which I learn from my lovely mum. The AKAMU is best to serve warm, and the ingredient used to prepare it include.

  1. Milk
  2. Groundnut Paste
  3. Groundnut Cake(Kulikuli)
  4. Little Sugar
  5. Rice
The steps to prepare it is very simple, put some quantity of Water on the fire, when the water is warm out the rice till done, mixed the groundnut paste in cool water, stir properly till it melts then put it in the warm water on the fire and leave for five minutes. Then put the pap in the boiling water, when it is tick to the way you desire, you immediately drop it, when it is cool put in your sugar and milk. You take with the KULIKULI as crackers, 😋 YUMMY, try it I bet you gonna enjoy this recipe.

I feel refreshed and strengthened. Each time I took PAP for breakfast and take my bath then get to the office, I usually feel unusual strength to work and am always active in my task. I must say that the PAP recipe for breakfast is magical but it is one of the best recipes you can try. I am always grateful to God for getting something to eat on daily basis and whenever I want to eat

My meal is just like a routine, I mostly take light food in the morning which will either be Tea and bread or Pap. Can't decide on lunch and dinner for now because e I may end up going to the restaurant to get something and eat.

Conclusion

My day was awesome and the meal I ate was all healthy. Thanks to my mum for teaching me I also wish to prepare it for my wife when I get married😎🙈. I wish to invite @yakspeace, @mandatory12, and @mr-sentu @bellan5038 to come to join and participate.
