Greetings all, I'm glad to make an entry in this week's contest, draw a tilapia fish.

Draw a Tilapia fish

This is a picture of me and the fish

The materials used for the drawing were A4 paper and pencil

First step
I placed the paper on the table, so that I can have a smooth drawing

Step 2
I start drawing by shading the lines lightly

Step 3
I thickened the thin lines to make it appear bold.

Step 4
I began adding scales to the body of the fish.

Describe A Tilapia fish 🐠

The tilapia is a freshwater fish that can be found in Rivers, lakes, lagoons e.t.c, this fish has diverse species, some of which may thrive well in the ocean. The origin of Tilapia fish has been traced to come from Africa, but this fish can now be found in other continents like Asia, America, and Europe. It possesses a large dorsal fin which enables the fish to move from one part of the water to another, it has a scaly skin and it has a short body. With the right knowledge, a farmer can successfully breed a tilapia fish, this fish has a speedy growth and thus brings good Return on investment (ROI) for the cultivator.

Where do they live?

They are aquatic animals, therefore they can be found in the Marine environment. This means that Tilapia fish live in water.

Is there any difference between scale fish and fish without scale?

Scaly fish have scales, these types of fishes usually have strong and plenty of bones inside. They also contain less fat content.

Fish without scales have smooth and shiny skin. They are more fleshy with tiny bones at times boneless all together.

Is it easily seen?

Yes

I have seen one, I saw it in a frozen food store.

Are they important to man, what significant role do they play in humans life? Talk about their nutritional value

Yes, they are very much important to man, they serve as food. They also serve as a source of income to food vendors. Breeding Tilapia fish can create employment opportunities for farmers, graduates and others who are willing to grab the offer.
