Greetings to all esteemed moderators of steemit and to all the steem kids in the community. I hope you all are doing well and glad?, I'm glad as well. Today I'll be talking about the technology of CCTV cameras and how it came about existence.

CCTV is widely known as a television system in which signals aren't publicly distributed butmonitored, primarily for security purposes. CCTV means closed circuit television primarily used to used to monitor the environment and survey areas as far as the united state of America [Worldwide]

According to my research in Google, live videos was first captured back then in 1942 in Germany, which was invented by engineer Walter Brunch. It was said that people operated these early cameras in wartime to monitor V-2 rockets. Seven years later CCTV cameras became available commercially in the year 1949. This camera was first used to capture light and converted into a video signal.

HOW DIGITAL CCTV CAMERA WAS INTRODUCED

In the present age that we are now, most things we make use of are facilitated by digital technology where by much stress are not needed to operate them. Although there were some forms of technology that was invented in the 1990s, but from the 2000s technology was modernized and transformed to be more efficient and to a better and easy way. Nowadays, digital technologies, like the CCTV cameras are now available in many places like homes, small businesses, large commercial business environment, offices, pharmacies, supermarkets and even in some churches, because they are now accessible, affordable and easy to operate. Just like the pharmacy where I'm working there is a CCTV camera mounted at each corners and outside the pharmacy to monitor the affairs and activities carried out there and also serves as a means of security.

I'm going to explain just 3 of them and state the best of them all that are used.

The dome CCTV cameras: These cameras are one of the best cameras and most used cameras. it is the most basic type of security cameras and they are used indoors.

Bullet CCTV cameras: Bullet cameras are small video cameras installed as part of a video surveillance system. These cameras are just 2 to 2.5 inches long, which makes them easy to hide. The special part of it is that they have a longer ranger of viewing large areas.

Day and night CCTV cameras: Day and night cameras are cameras that can see pictures during the day time, when there is enough sunlight, and during the night in total darkness.
I know you are wondering how the camera possibly sees at night well... that's also technology, I'll tell you how.
When the present or available light is low or it's night time, the camera's sensitivity will be increased by using infrared light to view. We can't see this light but it is actually around us.

HOW THE CCTV CAMERAS HAS BEEN OF HELP TO US

The CCTV camera has really been of help to us and the society at large. Having installed the camera in a particular premises will act as a serious watch out for criminals and any illegal activities going on. The sight of the CCTV camera will intimidate anyone planning to carry out a crime in the environment.
CCTV can also help in monitoring, providing evidences, decision making, keeping records for future purposes and analysis.
With this technology, I think life will be made easy and comfortable for us all.
