Hello my wonderful kids and kids lovers, it is with joy that I want to share my Promotional activities with you all. I have had a very tight schedule this week. I and the team in Uyo had scheduled to go out on Tuesday and Wednesday for the promotion using steemkids t-shirts and cryptoacademy t-shirt, but rain didn't allow us on Tuesday, but Wednesday was the day we went out for steemkids community promotion instead of Tuesday. Our outing was a success despite intermediate showers.

THE OPERATION #CATCHTHEMYOUNG T-SHIRTS

Our starting time is usually by 10am. Every member of the team is expected to go to the vanue or meet me at the steemit office and we take off from there. But I went to the steemit office that morning because I was expecting the 24 pieces of steemkids community t-shirts I had printed to be brought to me by @benson6 who had travelled to Abia state where it was being printed and I had asked him to help me bring them from the printer.

More and more persons are showing interest in using the t-shirts for promotion. He brought the t-shirts to me in the office. It has a little difference from the previous ones I printed because this one has an inscription at the back to reflect what I have in mind. The inscription is #catchthemyoung, write, post, earn

Schools have resumed in my city and some other cities around the world and so, that morning, I first went to my kids school to settle them for my kids fees and to also talk to the teachers about the promotion and for them to join steemit and teach the kids there. I spoke to the secondary school section principal to see if she can allow is talk to the kids. I told her about my kids activities in steemit. She like the idea but said she will like to talk to the school owner. It is a good idea. So I will be waiting for her response. I too will call the school owner since we are in good terms. I will seriously like is to go to schools this time that school is open and also join the school during their PTA meetings to see if we can catch this kids young.

From there I then went for the days promotion

THE PROMOTION

I and @benson6 went for the promotion. I started by sharing fliers to our fellow passengers.

Before we could get to the location, @prudendce85, @chichieze and @ijelady had signed up 2 persons already and were assisting others to write their posts. The newbies are @utibetom and @vickytom

When we met with them, we went to other locations along with @prudence85 and @chichieze and there we also signed up 4 newbies and assisted 2 to complete their achievement1 posts.

We also promoted steem to bikers

On the whole, we had a total of 8 persons that signed up that day. Kudos to all team members who took it upon themselves to assist. Some of us were signing up, some were explaining and others were assisting with the achievement posts and still others were helping some who didn't have email to create theirs. It was amazing!!! These promotional activities are worth supporting. Below are the names of the newbies

We encountered a very wonderful experience of a young man who came around to sign up. He had problem with his email and we were still trying to create his email for him. But what he heard about how steemit is made him to quickly call on his younger brother who was at home though close by to come that thee opportunity is very good. The brother came without hasitation and we also assisted him. He also needed to create his email. That was what we did for him. One touching thing that he did was that, he wanted badly to be dressed in the steemkids community t-shirt that he saw us wearing. He was insistent. I had gone out with few of them for those who usually come out for the promotion and wanted to get the t-shirts for themselves. He later got one of the t-shirts and said he will pay once he starts earning. I had no options than to give him especially due to the zeal he displayed. You can see him in the picture below, already Putting on the shirt.

Most times, the the people we meet don't have data but they will want to sign up. Well, most of us have been sacrificing our data by sharing ours with them so that they can sign up and write their achievement 1 before they can be able to recharge. We are really making a lot of sacrifices but they are worth the efforts. The Joys are amazing.

That Wednesday was amazing. I went back to my house very late because we later went to as restaurant to eat before going home.

Promotional activities are quickly becoming part of me and the entire team here in my city. If all can join hands to promote steem, steem will surely become a household name before long.
