Hello beautiful steemit family. I hope you're doing fine,I'm excited to share this experience about my weekend with my cousins with you.
There's joy in my heart as I type about my kid cousins. I am an aunt to a 4 beautiful kids. I have a beautiful 6year old girl, 4year old girl, 3year old boy and a boy of a year old.

These kids are the most wonderful set of kids I've got as cousins.
They can play, scatter the house, eat different kinds of meals and you know kids with sweet things, mine can also cry very well, fight between themselves, sleep, infant disturbing the whole house is an understatement.

The share room space with me so I can keep an eye on them but they've got their own bed in my room. Now friday night was with a whole lot of vibes as putting them to bed was a big trouble.
They are here for their parents to have a break from their troubles and worries. And I forgot to mention my love for kids is out of this world. I can't stand a kid cry, i would definitely cry alone side with you.
I got up on saturday morning and noticed the 4 year old girl and the 3 year old boy had gotten up and left to the parlour to turn on the television to watch cartoon.
You know kids and cartoon. I had to call them,wake the rest up and had them brush and have the eldest shower the 3year old boy.
Now fight evolved in the bathroom, the 3year old boy ran out to the kitchen that he doesn't want his sister to shower him, i had to shower him and the 1 year old. The play in the bathroom was much but we finally finished. After that I had to oil their body and dress them up.
Now for kids, after brushing and having a bath, it's food time. So I asked them what they would like to eat. Guess what??? They had different options and you know sometimes you can't do different dishes.
The girls wanted vegetable rice and the boys tea and bread. I had to go into the kitchen after brushing my teeth to be able to taste the food I'm cooking .
I got to the kitchen, got the food ingredients :vegetable leaf, rice, onions, crayfish, salt, pepper, Maggi, goat meat and lastly palm oil. I parboiled the rice, cooked the goat meat.
After preparing the ingredients, I fried the palm oil, added diced onions, then added the quantity of water I needed for the rice to get done. Then I added grounded crayfish, salt, pepper, Maggi and allowed it boil. Then I added the parboiled rice and allowed it dry up then I added vegetable leaf to it. After sometime, food was done.
Then on the other hand, I boiled water for tea and put three slices of bread in the tray. After serving them food, play started, I had to turn on the television and tuned it to cartoon channel for them to watch.
But hey, don't be mistakened, kids do not stay one place. The boys kept playing and running around the house.
The girls assisted me in cleaning up the kitchen. We laughed, played, sang, dru plates with spoon, let's say you remember your childhood days, how interesting it was when you visit an aunt's place or your uncles place, especially those aunt's that take you out almost every evening to places and buys you ice cream but yet laugh at you when your teeth falls off. I mean, the pillow fights, toy water gun fights, hmmmm, seriously can't I go back to being a kid for all these to happen. But that's by the way.
After cleaning up the kitchen, we decided to take a selfie.

My weekend was fun with my cousins. Everybody needs to have a play time with kids.
