The next step is to put your groundnut oil in a fry pan and place it on fire for some minutes to get the oil hot, ready for frying. Here, you can use your hands or a small spoon to cut the desired quantity into the frying pan to make them look colourful. Occasionally, keep turning the beans cake in the frying pan so as not to burn . It takes about seven to ten minutes for it to be done.
The last step is remove your cake from the pan using big sieved spoon into a siever. This makes the oil from the cake drain till it dries off. After few minutes, your bean cake is ready.

A bean cake is very rich in protein as well as fat and oil. This food can be eaten as a breakfast with custard or pap. It can also be served with tea in the morning. Bean cake is very commonly eaten in the southern part of Nigeria. I enjoy eating it in the morning when I am going to relax mostly at the weekends.
