Hello steemkidss, I tender my appreciation to this community as I was chosen as one of the winners in the just concluded week engagement challenge, yet again it another week and I am here to pen down my opinion regarding this week's contest which is about the impact of technology in kids' life.

Write an overview of how technology has impacted the world as a whole.

Since the inception of technology, it has been an innovation that we all know will explode throughout the world, but when will it reach a wider range is the question,

Until the 21 century, the global use of technology is beyond imagination in all spheres of life, the world had transformed into the use of technology in several aspects and sectors, and the need for technological contributions is so important that it facilitates a lot of labor work and now the technological advancement in this world is no more a surprise to us all, as it is part of our daily lives which make life easier for us.

In different ways, there has been progress with the use of technology, in the mechanical, electrical, health, agricultural, and even in our household technology ease the use of cleaning, washing, and cooking.

Technology is part of our lives now and it is something we can't do without, everyday in one way or the other we make use of technological equipment.

Share with us some of the positivity and negativity of technology in kids' lives

There are positive sides and negative sides to the exposure of technology to kids, no doubt we are in a jet age, a technological era, and in this era, children are born, as such, they get used to the use of technology which can be helpful to them and also otherwise.

Positivity
There are many positivities toward the use of technology in kid's lives,

• It enhances the learning experience for kids with the use of technology
• It makes them healthy and physical fitness with the use of technology like bicycle
• It reduces the cost of buying textbooks for studies
• The best part is that, technology is so good in a kid's life that it helps them to multitask, they can read, type, listen, and also multitask in other various aspects of interest that will see to their success in future.
• It brings out the creativity in them

Negativity

• To be glued to the screen could harm the eye and less physical activity could cause obesity and as such stimulates health issues, research has it that many children overuse mobile devices which reduces their physical activities which could be very harmful to children's health.
• It has a negative impact such that kid tends to sleep late, which reduces their sleep quality and can affect their IQ(intelligent quotient).
• It diminishes relationships with other kids which will affect real-life relationships with peer groups.

How would you rate the impact of technology in kids' lives? Highly positive or negative? Explain.

The impact of technology in kids' lives is more positive from my point of view, the impact is seen more positively but the negativity in this sense can be controlled with proper monitoring and guidance, because of its negativity we can't abandon the use of technology in kids lives because it's advantages are resulting into usefulness and also building creativity in these children.

In this era, it is impossible to eradicate the of use technology simply because of its negative effect on children as such we can adapt to the way it is used, I suggest scheduling time for them to come in contact with technologies like phones and computers. And proper guidance, supervising, attention should be given when the kids are in use of these technologies

Can you have control over the exposure of children to certain technological products? How?”.

Scheduling time for the use of technology is one of the ways to control children over the exposure to certain technologies.

Children will certainly use computers for assignments and much other school-related research but during this time proper supervision should be given, and when their work is done, they should end their connection with the internet and computer.

By monitoring children, we can have control over the exposure of children to cell phones, we all know cell phones are a part of our lives and we can't deprive our children of the use of technology but we can monitor them and instruct them on what and what not to do when using a mobile, as time goes on when they are mature they can realize what damage then use of technology can cause if used carelessly.
