My most memorable moment in school

It's another day of the week and I'm delighted to share and join this wonderful contest organized by @drhira here in this community today. It's a wonderful contest which everyone will love to participate in and it's a pleasure on my part to share my entry.

My most memorable moment in school is indeed a great topic in which everyone will love to participate because at some point we all had a moment worth talking about in our school days and my case is no different.

Why did it become a memorable moment?

My most memorable moment in school was the moment I was appointed as the senior prefect of the school. Before this time, the school was not friendly at all because of the way we were being treated.

As new students, we were given a series of punishments for not compiling total with the total work we were supposed to do and that made school unbearable for me. It was more like slavery because the seniors in the school punished the junior without the teachers saying anything about it.

So when I finally got to the senior class and I was given the senior prefect, I was so happy because the punishment from the seniors finally came to an end and I was the one in charge of the students at that moment.

It became a memorable moment because I was completely from from punishment and I was able to meet a good number of teachers who became friendly to me because of the position I was given in the school during that period and time. So that is what made it a memorable moment.

How did you make it memorable?

I made this moment memorable because I was able to fix a lot of things that I saw were initially wrong when I came to the school. Before this time the punishment for students was usually very unjust so I corrected that error.

I don't allow any student to be punished for no reason because I faced the same thing and I don't want it to continue in that manner. Everyone in the school most especially the new students were very happy with the latest development and changes they saw.

So I was able to keep a track record which made everyone from the school like me. Both teachers and students sing praises of me anytime they see me and that alone made me well respected in the school. When our tenure was over, I was given a special gift as the senior prefect for the standard I kept in the school.
