Greetings friends from me to you. I hope you all are doing great. I am grateful to God for life to me and my family. We are doing great.

Today I want to share a simple story from the drama I watched at the Redemption Glory Church Int'l, I hope you will learn a lesson from.
There is a common adage, "do not judge a book by its cover." This story has a relationship with the adage.

There was a family of 4 males with their aged mother alive. They were all married and 3 out of 4 had children. The one that had no child was very rich and his wife was rich as well.

Their mother hated the wife of the rich son because she could not bare a child at the time. When they go for yearly family meeting and get together the mother and the sisters-in-law who had children will scorn and mock the one who did not have a child. They will abuse her and sometimes fight her to leave the marriage that she was barren and could not bare a child.

At every family meeting the called barren always contributes the highest amount of money for the family welfare. At some point she got discouraged and wanted to stay back from the end of the year family meeting and party, but one of the sisters-in-law who did not support the mother-in-law and the other wives visited her and encouraged her not to stay away. She made up her mind to attend and she gave double of what her husband gave for the family event. While the meeting went on she through up and became sick at the meeting. When the mother-in-law saw it she mocked her the more and said to her never to put up any drama as they where not ready to condone her. She tearfully went back from that meeting trusting God for the day she will have her own child.

As God will do His Miracle the following year for the meeting and get together party she went to the occasion smiling with her own baby boy. When the old woman saw her she could not believe her eyes only to embrace her and struggle to carry her grandchild. She then turn against the other daughter-inlaws this time telling them they do not have money and that the one with the one with a child who once called barren is the only daughter-in-law that she knows.

Moral Lesson

  1. We should be continue to be kind to our enemies.
  2. We should not give up on ourselves and God.
  3. We should not judge people based on their misfortune.
  4. We should never mock or laugh at people in their misfortune.
  5. We should learn to be resilient in life.
