Hello friends, it's another week with our picture contest and I'm glad to join you guys in this week's own.
Pictures are memorable and adorable piece that's created to remind us things; whether good, bad, ugly...it reminds us things that we may have forgotten which whenever we come across, brings up dead and forgotten encounters.
In this contest, I will be showing you great memories left my picture. LET'S GO!
A SHOT WITH MY LOVELY FATHER
I'm not surprised making this my first memory lane picture. It's a beautiful picture we took with my father in January 2020.
It was after our December holiday in my father's house at the village. My family always make it a point of duty to visit my people every Christmas... even if we spend the Christmas in my husband's side, we will later visit my people and also spent some time with them. So, after the celebration, we where to travel back to Owerri, our city of residence that day. We just asked my father to pose with us for a quick picture... that's just what will keep the whole memorial celebration in our mind. In the picture is my son holding Papa's walking stick, first daughter enjoy the warmth of my hands, my father and I. You can also see my son wearing his Christmas cap from one of my elder brothers.
That was the January 2020 before covid-19 broke out in Nigeria in February. Unfortunately, that was the last picture we had with my father before he died in 18 July, 2021. He was buried October same year.
I cherish this picture because that's the only picture of my Dad I have now and I so much wish to save it here so I won't lose it like I lost others in the other spoilt phones. This picture was taken by one of my nephews with my phone. I love my Dad so much... he's my only parent I know and had closure with. My mum died when I was 3yrs so, I don't even know her....I can't remember anything about her. So, STEEMIT, save this picture for me please.

A POSE WITH GREAT GRANDMA
This is another picture that I wish to safe here.
It's a rare blessing for one to meet, stay and interact with the aged people. I say so because I'm one person that love our communal relationships...I didn't enjoy any of my grannies or great grand so I see it as a blessing for anyone who know or even enjoyed his/her grannies.
This is the picture we took with my husband's maternal grandmother...our children's maternal great grandmother.
It was December 2019 ,my father in-law asked everyone to dress up so we can visit his in-laws...all from Imo State but different areas. In the picture are, our great grandmother, my parents in-law, my two brothers in-law, and our children. Only two people arr not in this picture; my husband who stayed back to take care of the house and sister in-law ( @ruthjoe ) who I guess didn't visit that December.
The whole family were so happy to see Mama because it's been long we all came together like this to visit them especially our children who hasn't seen her before till that day. See my boy always representing with his Christmas cap. The picture was taken by Mama's grand child staying with her with one of my brother in-law's phone ( Gideon) and I transferred it to my phone through Bluetooth. Please, Steemit, save this picture for me...I will show my children when they get to a certain age because Mama is dead. She died same year with my Dad at the age of 96years old: same age with my Dad.- 1925-2021. Was buried 29th December,2021.

MY BROTHER'S PRIESTLY ORDINATION
The day our joy knew no bounds. What would have been a limp of joy for my father just that this one happened at his back...a dream fulfilled for my brother and a great testimony for my father's household.
This happened on 10th of August, 2022. This is a rare occasion. The second person to be ordained a minister in my village and to God be the glory, he's one of my elder brothers. He's a minister with Evangelical Church Winning All( ECWA).
He has been in the service but he just finished his ministry schooling which made the church officially ordained him to be one of their Pastors and he's servicing God with his family in one of their churches at Nkwelle-Ezunaka in Anambra State.
Pastor Amaechi Emmanuel Madubueze is so blessed that on this day, one of our prominent brothers from my kindred gift him a Lezus Jeep as his ordination gift. It was such a joyous day for my family because we have found favour in God's sight. People from all works of life came to celebrate with us. He is blessed with one wife, Mrs Uju Confidence (my name sake) and four adorable children ( 2 cute boys and 2 beautiful girls).
Why I want to save this picture here is because I see what God did as the ultimate. It's not easy having a true servant of God in the family. We are must honoured... TO GOD BE GLORIFIED, AMEN!
So, please, save this one for me here again.
I am so glad participating in this contest by @ngoenyi and I say God bless her for me. Truly, it's an honour being in this exclusively champions abode.
Pictures speak Volume. They always remind us people, things, events and ocassions we tend to have lost glimpse of and it's evidences so, this weekly contest is very welcomed and kudos to her and her team. I look forward to next episode. CHEERS!
I invite @mesola, @udyliciouz and @okere-blessing to come and enjoy this contest with me because I know there are pictures they would want to save to avoid being lost.
I complained that I don't have Tweeter account in the contest notification post. I hope I will be pardoned.
