In our society today, whenever someone behaves badly, the question people usually ask is which family is he or she from. It's so sad that most people don't have proper home training. Family is the integral part of our society. We learn our first language and so many things from our family.

What is Home Training?
This is a process where by parents bring up their children properly, teaching them basic societal values, beliefs and etiquettes.

Various forms of home training?

Spanking: The rod should not be spared when training up children. Cane should be used when appropriate.

Correcting with love: Parents should also correct their children with love.

Setting examples: Parents and guardian should lead the way by living by example.

Gifts: Parents should buy gifts for their children when they behave properly in order to encourage them.

Punishment:Punishment is one of the major ways of correcting children when they fail to adhere to instructions.

Some of the basic things we learn from home.

Basic proper hygiene like how to bath, how to wash our clothes and how to keep our surrounding neat.

How to live independently.

Social etiquettes like table manner, how to talk in the public, how to sit in the public and how to walk.

Respect

Society values and beliefs.

Our mother language.

How to cook and do basic house chores.

How to pray.

Conclusion
The holy bible says "Train up a child in the way he should become and when he grows up he will not depart from it." Parents should endeavor to give their children proper home training.They should not spare the rod in training up their children.
