Season greetings and welcome to my entry for this week's engagement from this wonderful community where we get to share our ideas on our believes and how we see what charity is all about to us.

What is your view about charity and do you believe that it should begin at home?

Charity for me is such a wonderful thing and I believe that it is of utmost importance to help others in times of need and make a positive impact in our communities. And yes, I have always been a believer that charity should begin at home.

On a personal ground, taking care of our family and immediate community is a first starting point of charity as this is even our first point of learning and socialising. This allows us to make meaningful impact and difference even if it is little in the lives of those closest to us, then from there, we can extend our acts of kindness and generosity to wider causes and the general public. It is all about spreading love and making the world around us a better place, with one act of charity at a time, taking one step at a time.

What is the motivating factor for charity work and is it good to broadcast what you have done for others

My motivating factor to carry out a charity work is the genuine desire to help and make even if it is the smallest of impact in the world. I am also motivated by personal experience and the sense of gratitude for what God has given me.

While sharing our charitable act with others can inspire and encourage them to do the same, I am of the other opinion not to let my charity become a popularity case. Even the good book says the left hand should know the good deeds of the right hand. Hence, if you must, I believe it is important to come to a balance as it is good to raise awareness and inspire others, and it is equally better to respect the privacy and dignity of those you're helping. It is for this reason, the respect of the people I'm helping that my acts of kindness are always to myself and the people I help.

When was the last time you carried out charity work for the members of your home?

Every day of my life has been a blessing I look forward to share with my family and loved ones, and if I can't help spread the blessings to those around me, I don't feel well, especially when they surmon the courage to ask of me. Some times, I still feel bad even when I don't have to give or couldn't help out in the situation. Charity is not something to be done on a seasonal basis, but everyday no matter how small the act of kindness you get to share.

Your advice to others about charity

My advice is that, every act of kindness no matter how small can make a huge impact to those in your favour and the world around you. We are told that a good name is better than silver and gold. Hence, I believe charity is a wonderful way to make a positive impact in the lives of those around us and beyond.

Therefore, I will encourage anyone and everyone reading this to find it in your heart to spread love, support and kindness either by local community initiatives, donating to humanitarian efforts, or volunteering your time, remember every act of kindness counts, even the smallest of gestures can make a big difference in someone's life.

You can, if possible do as little as spreading the word about the causes you care about even if you cannot help yourself can inspire others to get involved and help out. So never see it as it is too little to be counted for, spread the word.

I wish to invite @ninapenda, @ruthjoe, and @suboohi to share their take on charity with us.

Thank You for your Time

NOTE: Always have a smile on your face, as you are never fully dressed without one.

Hi @sahmie, nice presentation from you. I enjoyed reading through your entry. Charity I must say is an act of love and kindness. Charity begins at home yes, because that is the foundation where love is being shown and inherited, any family without the show of love cannot extend charity outside. You have made clear points and I agree to all of it. Thanks for the invite, mine has already been dropped.

I wish you all the best. Complement of the season to you!!!.

Thank you so much for your kind words. I'm glad you enjoyed reading my entry. Charity is indeed an act of love and kindness, and it starts from within our own homes. Without love, it becomes difficult to extend charity to others. I appreciate your agreement with the points I made. And thank you for dropping your invite, I hope it goes well for you. Wishing you all the best too, Have a wonderful season.

Regards,
The motivation for charity comes from within yourself, the suffering or lack of others that afflicts you comes from your love for others. Charity also stems from our kindness to others. We can never expect anything in return for giving. Charity seems to me to be the most effective means of satisfying myself.

I agree with you. The motivation for charity really comes from deep within ourselves. When we see others suffering or in need, it touches our hearts and fuels our desire to help. It's all about our love for others and our innate kindness. And you know what? The beauty of charity is that we don't expect anything in return. It's a selfless act that brings immense satisfaction. It's amazing how fulfilling it feels to make a positive difference in someone's life through charity. Keep spreading that kindness, my friend.

You let us know that you are in favour of Charity and you think that it should begin from our home because our family needs us as we need our family when we were in our childhood as well as you have advice very well about Charity that it should be done no matters that it is done at a small scale or at a large scale but if you are feelings are pure then it means that you are successfully in donating someone I wish you good luck in this engagement challenge.

Thank you brother. Wish you success too.

Your welcome 🤗
I am happy that you consider my comment precious and respond on that.

Dear brother @sahmie, You mentioned that your motivating factor for running a charity is a genuine desire to help and create which is pretty cool. You also said that it was inspired by your personal experience and a sense of gratitude for what God has given you which I also agree with. Also I always support such noble work like charity as it makes people better to family, society and other people of the country. I appreciate your presentation.

That's awesome to hear. It's really cool that your motivation for running a charity comes from a genuine desire to help and make a positive impact. I totally agree with you on that. It's so important to give back and show gratitude for the blessings we have received from God.

And I couldn't agree more with your support for charity work. It truly makes people better, not just for their families but for society and our entire country. It's incredible how charity can bring about positive change.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts, and I'm glad you appreciated the presentation.
