The diary game for Sunday 28 July, 2024. God blessed my day with a daily bread.

MORNING

Cutting Okra and onions

I woke up today very strong and full of faith in God to protect me and provide my daily bread, being in my place of work which guarantees me less sleep every day. I slept around 3 am and woke up at 5:30 am to resume my duty which started with morning devotion.

I read the book of Luke 5:5, which says (And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word, I will let down the net.) Today I learn trusting God in everything I am doing, in this present situation when things are very difficult, is only God who can help us achieve our goals here on earth.

After the devotion I switch off the garden light, brush my teeth and warm bathing water, take my bath change clothes, and settle down to watch the news as there is no work to do, my colleague joins me to watch the news and gisting at the same time as we don't have anything to eat and our boss is not around.

AFTERNOON

Cooking the soup

We sat and got tired and began to sleep in our sitting position, we woke up and continued watching programs on TV, so in the house, we were three together with a police officer who was also on duty. The policeman called his wife to send two thousand for him, which the wife sent.

Since I had two thousand in my account, we decided to buy okra, pepper, onions, Maggi, and crayfish to cook soup and turned Garry (eba). so I changed my security uniform wore my normal clothes and went to the market to buy all the things we needed for the soup and eba.

I left around 3:25 pm, but the funny thing is that I didn't even know the market, so I had to ask on my way to the market, when I reached the market, I saw all that I wanted to buy, but things are very expensive in the market. I bought all the soup ingredients but didn't buy the Garry.

EVENING

We do buy it #1000 per major, but they told me that I should pay #2000, so I came back and my colleague went to the shop and bought it #1300. I cut the Okra and the vegetable, I entered the kitchen and prepared the soup and the eba. I serve the food, we eat, and continue watching gospel music on ITV.

After eaten food.

Then around 8 pm, I started writing my diary for the day. Sorry, I forgot to capture (snap)the morning and afternoon events on my phone.
