Hurray!!!! steemkids community is a month old!

Greetings steemkids lovers around the globe, today is really exciting and we are super glad. we can't believe it's one month already but to be candid it feels like we've been doing this for ages. It was one month ago that this community, [steemkids community](https://steemit.com/trending/hive-139765) was introduced through this [post](https://steemit.com/hive-139765/@steemkidss/hurray-introducing-our-brand-new-community-steemkids). Steemkids community was conceived during one of the steemitcryptoacademy homework tasks by one of our professors. We are glad we are growing and proud of our achievements in the last 30 days! we must confess it's been one amazing ride and we have all our steemkids lovers to thank, you all have made this community a beautiful place for all our kids. A little home on the blockchain for our beautiful kids. we appreciate you all. To our beautiful and agile team, you guys are just so amazing. we love and cherish you all.

our achievement in 30 days.

1. Running daily contest that is doing amazingly well

2. Running various contests weekly to engage our subscribers.

3. 400+ subscribers and 121 active subscribers. These active members varies from time to time but it has not gone below 100 ever since we achieved that feat. See screenshot below

All these have been possible because we have wonderful admins and MODs that are hard working. Daily making sure that the community remains interesting. The likes of

All these in 30 days, imagine what we can do in a long run.

Our plans

• To grow our community steempower through delegation from members and to power up our earnings. We believe that we will achieve a lot in no time. We have already gotten delegations from well meaning friends and we'll wishers. We currently have 6300+ steempower and at 100%, our voting value is $0.06. we still have a long way to go but it is a good start. We will not quickly forget this beginning when we eventually become more popular, achieving our targets. We are targeting 10000sp in the next one month. Let's see how it goes.

We also want to start touching the lives of kids through steemit in more specific ways like

• Making donations to schools to assist those kids that need help in terms of learning materials of all kinds.

• We plan to make steemit a household name. We have announced that we need steemkids community ambassadors who will help us reach families and kids all around the world.

• We will continue hosting contests to reward our active members.

• We will visit schools to promote steemit to both teachers and school owners.

• We will invite more mods from various countries around the world to help us achieve our goals faster.

• We will teachers from various skills to showcase their talents and teach our kids various subjects that will be of benefit to them.

• We will ensure that steemit is in the heart of our kids such that once they get to the age 13, they will not hasitate to sign up and move with the zeal.

• We will also encourage parents and caregivers to invest and grow their steempowers to enable them save for their kids. These days, children inherit wallets keys, but there has to be something in it. This we will achieve by hosting power up contests from time to time.
