Communicating with someone doesn't just means, you talking or getting your message across to someone; but it entails that your intended message is being understood by the person involved. That's when the communication is said to be effective.
A lot of people communicate without actually expressing the intent of their messages, sometimes making the message passed across to be difficult to understand.

That's why an effective communication has to do with clarity and concise; go straight to your point, don't make it boring; avoid consistent repetition that would make the person lost interest in the communication, maintain eye contacts; that's nonverbal cues, then pay apt attention and contributes to the communication where necessary to make it lively.

Note: Communication is the bedrock of every relationship; information is communication, therefore a good information gets you informed but if you lack adequate information you'll be deformed.

Now;

Family bonding involves one creating a very strong connection between his/her family members; which would birth forth: love, trust, commitment, support and making selfless sacrifices to the benefits of everyone involved.

Therefore an effective communication has the ability to strengthen family bonding;
Take instance: I witnessed a scenario where a husband got embarrassed by the wife because she caught him having lunch with another woman in an eatery ; my darlings it was an eye sore, because I was equally embarrassed on behalf of the lady that was tagged as "husband snatcher". I felt pity for her. The man's wife rained down all manner of insult on the poor woman. It was later discovered that they were having an official launch meeting.
Poor communication between the man and his wife; maybe the wife must have called him earlier to know his where about but he lied, so when the wife met him there, she read meaning to his actions.

Please Let's learn to communicate in clear terms when communicating with our family members especially our spouses to avoid implicating ourselves on things we know nothing about.
