Introduction

Welcome to my blog! Beloved kids and cherish kid's lovers. I am glad to write about how the steemkids Community Anniversary celebration went.
Some days before the anniversary, I got a call from the community founder @ngoneyi to be part of the anniversary celebration and I was so glad to hear about it and promise to honor the invitation.
Finally, the anniversary day arrived that was Friday, 17/06/2022.

My Preparation

In the morning of that day, I woke up very early and after saying a brief prayer, I prepare breakfast for the family and did some clean up.
I dropped my older child at school and return home to care for my baby.
After attending to my baby, I ate breakfast, took my bath and dress up with steemkids Community t-shirt.
It was 11:10am when I left the house with my baby to the venue of the party.

On arriving at the venue No. 1 Ediye street, Uyo Akwa Ibom State of Nigeria
I met @benton3 , @ngoneyi and @madiyn02 already there at the venue.
They had set a table decorated with anniversary cake, wines, water, and others

After waiting for a while few other steemians arrived and lastly @eliany who volunteered to cook for the occasion arrived with food and more drinks.
She came along with her husband and her in-law who are also steemians.

When they arrived, the anniversary celebration started with few words of prayer to our heavenly father Jehovah and after that each steemian present did a brief introduction of him/herself and also say few things about the steemkids community.

During the introduction, we started making use of some items on the table like groundnut, garden eggs, fruit juice and so on. You see it was really fun and enjoyable. And after the introduction, food was shared among all and everyone ate to thier satisfaction. The food was so delicious and the chicken too was well fried and tasty.

The fruit juice taste so good and I will try it out myself. The zobo was great! I must admit, @eliany is a great cook 🤗.

After eating and drinking all that was given to us.
It was now time to cut the anniversary cake.

Everyone put hand together to cut the cake.

After cutting the cake it was shared to everyone and some take home were also given.
Drinks were shared too. We all enjoyed ourselves and lastly the floor was opened for dance💃💃💃.

While others were still celebrating, I left with my baby to pickup my older child from school.

Conclusion

It was my pleasure to be part of steemkids Community Anniversary cerebration and I wish the community continuous growth and continue to touch the lives of kids through steemit.

I really appreciate everyone who made the occasion successful. To the founder who sponsored the party, I say "Thank you" to all Admins and moderators, may we all continue working hard to see the community growing bigger day by day as it is presently.
