Good evening everyone in this amazing community, I hope all you lovers of kids are doing well in your respectful family, as for me I am very much ok. I am very interested in this contest to tell you my worst childhood chores, but before that I want to thank the admin and moderators of this wonderful and amazing community for initiating contest like this to keep us active.

House chores are daily routine and it is a necessary tasks that must be done in the family by all family members young and old. This includes washing, hanging and folding of clothes, washing of dishes, setting and cleaning of the table before and after eating, weeding and watering the garden, sweeping and mopping the floor and fetching water.
There are benefits of including the chores in a kids daily routine at early age at least from 5 years. This is because children who learn how to do house chores always have self-valued and they are more responsible and funish to deal with frustration, delayed, gratification and adversity. Learning chores can leads to a greater success in life, for example success in school, work place and most importantly in a relationship.

MY WORST CHILDHOOD CHORES

When I was a child these 3 chores were my worst.

washing of dishes : it was always a difficult task for me to wash dishes in our house because we have so many dirty dishes and pot as everyone in the family will eat and keep the dishes for one person to wash the following day.
Sometimes I will be punished if any of the plate mistakenly fell from my hand and broke, so that fear of breaking the dishes and couple with the fact that the dirty dishes was plenty makes me hate washing dishes.

Fetching of water: this was another worst chores of my childhood, because as at that time we did not have borehole in our house not even in my locality, so we have to walk some kilometers from where we live to fetch water in the stream, and it was very far. Me and my siblings have to woke up very early in the morning around 4am to go to the stream and fetch water, hmmmmm imagined the time I supposed to enjoyed my sleep is the time I have to woke up for this chores. So I hate this chores with passion. The worst of it all is that I used to carry the bucket of water on my head and walk all that long distance.

Sweeping and weeding of the varrender: due the fact that we have a very big compound and wide varrender and one person will be assigned to do the sweeping and weeding, this chores task became my worst. And when it is my turned to do the cleaning I will dush it and face the consequences.

Who Used To Send Me This Chores

It is now that I understand that a loving and caring mother will rise up when it is still in night and providing food for her house members and assigned portions or chores to her children.
So my beloved mother used to send me all these chores.

Are they still my worst childhood chores

My answer is not at all , I even praised my mom for what she has done, the chores she used to assigned to me make me a responsible person today. It really helps me to care for myself, my house and environment.

Will you encourage your child to hate those chores

I will encourage and train my kids to learn about how they can care for themselves, family and home, and these chores will help them in their adult because the will know how to prepare their food, do cleaning, fetch water and keep the environment clean.when a child involved in house chores she/he will communicate clearly and also work as a team.when kids share in chores they contributed a lot to the family life and this will make them feel competent and responsible even if they don't enjoy chores that is assigned to them, when they keep doing it, they will have a satisfying feeling.
