Week 5: Food Aid Delivered To Green Stars International Schools

It was another great day which entails that many activities will be done. My activities began by submitting my instructional package in school but I was disappointed. The person that I entrusted my instructional package travelled back to his hometown, so I had to come back home to prepare for charity.

From the situation of midterm break, most schools usually take 1 week for the break while others prefer Thursday and Friday for their break. According to the team report, @alli001 contacted the proposed school and @ngoenyi went again for verification and approval. It was set and ready for action.

I left home informing @bossj23 since we had to go together since I didn't know the location. We arrived and other Steemians were waiting and the movement was initiated. Since we were 5 Steemians, we took 2 bikes which we initiated Vawulence even while in motion. The name of the proposed school was Green Stars International School.

On arrival, we united with other team members and wait for the pupils to finish their tests. We used that opportunity to have group pictures. The golden opportunity came in where the school gathered the children orderly in a queue and @ngoenyi did a brief introduction to the children. After the introduction, the aid were shared among the pupils. The joy in their face was just visible as it reflects. The fun part is that the joy in their faces stimulate the happiness of the team.

After that, the school nominated two pupils who gave a vote of thanks to the sponsors. The School Proprietor shows his heartfelt gratitude to the team and the sponsors for remembering his school. Since the school is primary and secondary school, we were fortunate to work with most classes in the primary school hoping to return for the completion agenda.
