Hello friends it is a pleasure to post in this community once again after some time. Today I would love to participate in the DIY contest hosted by @mesola in this Steemkids & Parents community.
My crafting of a cat
Hosting Skillful contests like this can enable kids and others around the world to show their skills, so I appreciate the minds behind the DIY contest.
There are some questions I would like to answer but before that I would love to talk about a cat.
Cats are very unique animals that should be appreciated by humans, because their qualities are very unique, cats are very clean, smart and stealth animals. In the aspect of being clean, if notice many animals feaces, can be seen by us humans, but cats show cleanliness by digging the ground and emptying it's bowel then it closes it up, in the aspect of being smart, a cat knows all the activities that humans perform, that is why it determines why and when it comes close, and one more thing you can never trick a cat, in the area of being stealth, a cat is never heard when it is walking or running, especially in the night, so when walking we should careful not to step on them in the night. Cats also love warm and comfortable places as you can see in the picture below.
So let's answer the questions;
How did you get the idea?
I got the idea, from a craft show normally showed on the television, so I decided that I check it out by trying it, and when I was done I saw it was beautiful, and I hope you have the same view.
How useful is what you have made?
It is not to useful, but it can be used for beautification purposes. Like a hanging wall craft, to beautify the house.
Which kid did you inspire or do you intend to inspire and help develop the creativity?
In this case I was the kid and I was inspired by the TV show and my pet cat.
So let's go to the drawing process;
Below are the materials used
- Plastic bottles
- Pencil
- Cardboard paper
- Scissors
- Gum
Step1:
I started by cutting the bottle into half, with should be done with precise measurements, then I wrapped it with cardboard, that also needs precise measurements to avoid wasting card board paper.
Step2:
After that I opened holes at the bottom of the container to enable me to pass the rope that will be used to hang the craft on the wall and the button to hold it.
Step3:
Then I started designing the face, I carved out the eyes the nose and the mouth, after that I carved out the ear, then I used my gum to paste the carved out materials on the wrapped bottle to make it look more like a cat
Step4:
Then after pasting or the materials I crafted out the tail and pasted it to on the bottle and finally I am done.
That was how the making of the cat was for me, I invite @fortwis09, @bossj23 and @patjwell to participate in this contest. Till then goodbye, wait and one more thing, look below👇👇👇
