Weekly drawing contest|| week #18 Begins: Draw A Butterfly 🦋 by @eliany

Hello everyone it is a pleasure to post once again here on this community.
And i thank all of you for bringing the drawing contest back to life.
For this week we were told to draw a bitter fly, and that's what I want to do. But firstly I want to answer the questions

Describe A Butterfly

A butterfly is an insect that has different colors of wind, while some may have only one color on the wing. A mornarch butterfly has a brain as a size of pin head yet it is able to navigate to long distances, it can fly to almost 18,000 miles, that means that if the butterfly is in Mexico it can fly to Canada in just one day. There are different varieties, just as i have mention one specie there are many more. The colors on a butterfly is not just inherited, it is made from the radiation process. When the sun shines on the wing it gives just one color, but when it turns back it gives of different colors, that is how the color on the wing is formed. That's all I can say about a butterfly. But there are more to learn from the cute little insect.

What can we learn from the life stages of a butterfly?

The life stages of a butterfly teaches me how organized our loving creator is, the way he made the butterfly is so beautiful. The butterfly is made up of an incomplete metamorphosis, they include larva, pupa and adult.

Have you seen one before? If yes, where?

Yes, i have seen a butterfly, every where i see butterflies, and they are so colourful.

Are they important to man, what significant role do they play in humans life?

They play a role in pollination, they pollinate flowers so that fruits can come out from the flowers.

Do you like butterfly?

Yes i like butterflies, but i am scared when they come close to me.

After answering all the questions i will like to go go to the creativity.

Materials needed

1. pencil
   2)paper
2. crayon

Step1
I started by drawing the first wing , then I drew the other wing the butterfly was tough at first but as i continued i progressed.

Step2
Then i started drawing the body of the butterfly with the antenna. The body of a butterfly is not seen when in motion, but when it perches on a flower you can see the body clearly

Step3
Then i started adding the designs of the butterfly, because it is the color alignment that makes it beautiful.

Step4
Then i started coloring the designs then the outer part of the butter fly, i colored the butterfly orange and black, the designs were orange and the outer part was black. Then the body was black.
