OUR 16TH ANNIVERSARY
December has come around once again, and as regular readers of my Steemit account will know, this is the month when Jamie and I celebrate our anniversary.
Such an occasion calls for dressing up, and this year I chose for my outfit the Spiderella dress. Actually, I had spotted this dress a few months back, when I was looking for outfits for Halloween. But I thought it was such a lovely dress it would be perfect for my anniversary.
You may also have noticed something else has changed. Yes, my hair! I have always insisted on my hair being black, but I thought just this once red hair would better suit my outfit. I guess I figured black hair AND a black dress was a bit too much black!
As for Jamie, she wore an absolutely adorable blue dress, beautifully cut to show off her gorgeous legs. As you can imagine I was very eager to get on the dance floor and enjoy a romantic dance with her!
As ever, we chose the Blue Note Club for our dance venue. It is the same club we have gone to these past 16 years. Coincidentally, the club is as old as our partnership, and they always have a sign up showing how many years Blue Note has been open. To me it feels like a celebration of so many happy years with my beloved Jamie
