The Resident Evil saga is undoubtedly one of the most famous in the world of video games, many of its titles became references for many developers. Since 1996 we have been able to observe the evolution of this franchise which has had its good and bad moments.

There is something that has been present in Resident Evil in many deliveries and that is its Puzzles, those moments that we spend a lot of time thinking about how to solve the puzzle in order to continue in the game. Nowadays it can be something very easy because there is something called the internet, but in the past if you didn't discover it on your own, you had to buy a guide magazine or have a friend tell you what the secret was.

Some riddles in the Resident Evil saga were quite simple, but others could give you headaches, forcing you to think for a long time about how to solve them. One example is the medallions from the first Resident Evil which you had to get in order to open a door.

It happened to a lot of players that they never found the last medallion, forcing them to go around all the places visited in the mansion. The solution would be found by the most curious ones, you had to examine one of the books you found, when you opened it there was the medallion.

The first Resident Evil also had other complicated puzzles, one that is very remembered is the one about the picture gallery. We had to pay close attention to the description of the paintings, as it gave us the key to solve the riddle, then press the buttons in a certain specific order to finally get our reward.

The acclaimed Resident Evil 3 Nemesis is also riddled with these famous puzzles, among them we can find a very particular one found in the Racoon City hospital when we played with Carlos in the search of the vaccine for Jill. When we get to the part where we must synthesize the vaccine we must activate some levers in a certain order in order to level the colored bars on the left side of the machine.

The riddle of the clock tower when we play with Jill is also one of those that the first time we face it is very time consuming, we must place some stones in the clocks in such a way that each of them indicates 12 o'clock, the detail is that the positions of the gems are not always the same, changing at random every time we start a new game.

Resident Evil Code Veronica also has several interesting puzzles, but the one that will probably leave you wondering how to solve it is the Ashford family picture gallery, in itself it's not a complicated puzzle, the detail is that you must know the family history to select the pictures in the right order, otherwise you will have to write down all the clues offered by the video game

Finally, we will see the riddle that for many was the most complicated of the first three games of the saga, it is the water sample in Resident Evil 3. Here we must make a series of displacements of blocks to create a combination that is at the top, when we have the perfect figure we can continue with our adventure.

There are many more riddles that are remarkable in the saga of Resident Evil, I'm sure that you once had to face them, if so, tell me what was that puzzle and your experience in the comments section.
