The creators of Blizzard held a live broadcast, in which they shared the details of the PvP competitive shooter Overwatch 2. The creators not only told us, in fact, that they will cut the teams to "5 by 5", but also recommended fresh maps.
Below you can see small videos dedicated to 5 maps: Rio, New-york, Rome, Toronto and Monte Carlo. Some of them we have already seen, and other creators have suggested for the first time.

The creators also told us that the new "Onslaught" mode, in which players will fight for control of the robot in the central part of the map in order to start pushing it towards the enemy base, is undergoing some configurations due to the new team structure.
Not counting this, the creators are working on another fresh mode, and the Assault mode will leave the competitive playlist. A fresh regime will come to replace it. However, the existing Assault cards will be available, for example, in user games.
