Army Moves is a shoot'em up game game for Spectrum, among other systems, published by Dinamic in 1986.
An enemy power has managed to build a particle bomb, the most destructive weapon created by man. The plans for it are jealously guarded in a base located on a remote island.
Derdhal is the most experienced member of the Special Operations Corps. He has been assigned the task of recovering the plans, of vital importance to the rest of the planet. Even knowing that it is a suicide mission, the soldier accepts the challenge without hesitation.
Our first mission is to cross a ruined bridge in an all-terrain jeep. We will be attacked by helicopters and kamikaze trucks eager to blow up our vehicle, but we can defend ourselves with missiles and perform long jumps to avoid falling into the void.
After stealing a helicopter from a hangar, we will cross plains and oceans in search of the island where the secret base is located. We will face fighter jets, anti-aircraft batteries, submarines and surveillance posts. Fortunately, our helicopter is equipped with deadly missiles and great maneuverability.
Once we manage to land, our journey continues on foot. We will be armed with an arsenal of grenades and a machine gun, and we have a powerful jump that will allow us to overcome the adversities of the terrain.
The enemy base is surrounded by a thick jungle through which a deep river runs. We must survive the bombs of the ambushed soldiers and the hostile native fauna, being very careful not to make a false step and fall into the water.
The headquarters is heavily guarded by a multitude of heavily armed troops. We will have to dodge the grenades thrown at us from the sentry turrets and survive the crossfire.
If we manage to reach the main building of the facility alive, all that remains is to locate the safe that holds the coveted plans for the deadly particle bomb, while escaping the siege of enemy troops.
