Completed: Just Cause 2

Today, after many hours of playing (67 to be exact) on and off I finally managed to get all the achievements for Just Cause 2. The journey was long and arduous, seeing as I had a playground of destruction of about 930 squared kilometers, but it was worth it.

Let's break down the achievements into categories, to understand them better. There are story related achievements, which unlock after finishing story missions (those are kinda trivial), difficulty achievements (which stack, so if you go directly to Hardcore difficulty, you get all of them), completion achievements (which have you complete a certain number of tasks) and style achievements (which have you perform special tasks). None of the achievements in the game are missable in this game's case, but some become harder to get after each liberated area, as there are not enough enemies to perform them in a timely manner (examples are smashing enemies with an object tethered to you vehicle and killing 20 enemies in 60 seconds).

In my case, I did 2 playthroughs of the game, a main one on normal difficulty in which I explored the archipelago the game presented and one on hardcore difficulty, in which I rushed through the story.

In the end, the last achievement I got was the 75% completion one, called Perfectionist, and I did it in style, by finishing a plane time trial which ended above some mountains in the game, overlooking the vastness of this beautiful and fictional Asian archipelago.
