Before I start I just want to say to anyone that didn't already, follow my content on HIVE as I will stop making content on STEEM in a couple of weeks once I'm done powering down and you should do it too.
Hello guys! Since I started posting here my content focused mainly on only one game, Gods Unchained and we covered a lot about it. Because we are now waiting for the new expansion, Trial of the Gods, the game is not getting many balance changes or new features added so it is getting a little stale and I decided to try out this new card game from Riot Games called Legends of Runeterra. I gotta say I'm blown away by it and it will be something I see myself being interested in for a long time. Now, I will still make Gods Unchained content and nothing will change about that but I am going to start making some posts around this game just because I like it so much.
Simple Complexity
This was something that first came to mind when I was describing this game to my friend the other day. The game is using some pretty simple concepts that everyone can easily get the gist of in just a couple of hours of experience but then again you have so many paths to choose from during the game that it gives the feeling of complexity so the expression of skill is really visible.
The game uses a lot of mechanics that you can find in other games and if you are into card games it won't be too hard to adapt to it but even then you will find that the mix of these mechanics is so damn good and well-refined and it just feels right. The whole concept of the game is so fresh and unique and so much fun to explore.
A Warm Welcome
I definitely encourage you guys to try the game if you haven't yet. I won't be making much introduction to how the game works because they have done a really good job to welcome any new player with their extensive tutorial and while they show you the game it feels like they literally hold your hand and show you around. This is something that every game needs, I really really hope something like this comes to Gods Unchained because it will mean so much for the game. You will see what I'm talking about, just try it.
To start go to their official Legends of Runeterra website and download the game. The game is in the Open Beta but it already feels like a finished product. The game releases on the 1st of May and there will be a mobile version to play on. Everything you unlock or buy in the game stays on the account even after launch so you won't be losing anything. In fact, they will be giving away some limited items to all the beta testers.
Anyway, this is it, just an announcement of what I'm planning to expand my content on and I hope that some of you will be interested in seeing it. I'm currently also making some new custom cards for Gods Unchained so get ready for that one (in 1 or 2 days tops).
Thank you for reading!
