Hellow steemians! How are you today I hope you are all fine as I am. I appreciate God for bringing us to another week of drawing in this community "steem of animals". I also want to thank @shahariar1 for organising and sustaining this contest. Today, I shall be drawing a kangaroo. May you enjoy my drawing and presentation thank you.

Material used for drawing

• Plain A4 paper
• Pencil
• Colour
• Eraser
• Sharpener

Step 1
I started the drawing of my kangaroo from the head. I drew the face, the ears, the mouth, the nose and the eye. I used brown colour to do all the drawing but for the eye, I used a pencil.

Step 2
In this second stage, I drew the neck of the kangaroo, its forelegs, parts of its stomach and back with the help of my brown colour.

Step 3
I completed the drawing of the back and stomach. I also drew its hind legs.

Step 4
I completed the drawing of my kangaroo by drawing its long tail.

Step 5
I began colouring from the hindlegs. I used my pencil on the lower part of the legs and I also used it to separate the two legs. Then used my brown colour to shade the remaining parts of the legs.

Step 6
Here I shade the tail of the kangaroo. I used a 12B pencil to shade the lower part of the tail and brown colour to shade the remaining part of the tail.

Step 7
I shade the body of the kangaroo using a pencil and a brown colour

Step 8
I shaded the forelegs and the neck of the kangaroo.

Step 9
I concluded my drawing by shading the head of the kangaroo. On the head, I shaded the ears nose, mouth and eyes of the kangaroo. Finally, I wrote mythe name of the animal, the community and my name on the paper.

What is kangaroo?
Kangaroos are strong and large Australian mammals with powerful hind legs, small front legs and long tails. They move by hopping and can cover about 25 - 30 feet in a single hop. Kangaroos are herbivorous (They feed on grasses, leaves, insects, etc). Kangaroos are ruminant animals.

Fact about Kangaroo

• There are four species of kangaroo.
• They are the only large animals that move by hopping.
• A group of kangaroos is called a mob.
• A female kangaroo is called 'flyer'
• A male kangaroo is called a 'buck' or a 'boomer
• A newborn kangaroos are called joeys and are only an inch long at birth.
• Kangaroos are herbivores animals
• Kangaroos vacanwim very well.
