Greetings friends! How are you today? I hope you are all fine as I am. Today I want to share a beautiful drawing of a crab in steps. I appreciate @shahariar1 and the Steem of Animals for organising and sustaining this beautiful contest. Thank you once again for the weekly opportunity. This has given me room to always improve.

What is a crab?
A crab is a sea animal found on the seashore. It has four to five pairs of legs with compound eyes and antennas. They are a source of protein for man. The crab is an omnivorous animal. It feeds on worms, algae, fungi etc

Economic importance of crab
Crab forms part of the food chain. It is a source of food for man and other animals. It also eats other animals and insects whether dead or alive

Materials for drawing

• Plain A4 paper
• 12B Pencil
• Colours
• Eraser
• Blade

Step 1
I began my drawing from the two eye sockets of the crab. After the sockets, I drew the cephalothorax which is more like the shell of the crab. I did all of these with the help of my orange colour.

Step 2
Here, I shaded the cephalothorax of the crab using my orange and yellow colour.

Step 3
At this step, I drew the abdomen, face and eyeballs of the crab. The eyeball is coloured using orange colour and the eyelid is coloured with a 12B pencil.

Step 4
Here, I drew the swimming legs. The swimming legs are the last or rear legs which the crab uses for swimming.

Step 5
At this step, I drew the front legs. In the front legs, I drew the merus, capus and claw.

Step 6
Here, I drew the walking legs found on the right-hand side.

Step 7
I equally drew the walking legs found on the left-hand side.

Step 8
Finally, in my drawing, I lightly coloured the face and abdomen of the crab using yellow colour.
