The beach was as we left it last year. On the tall poplars there were broken old branches and new ones with light blue leaves that glittered and flickered in the sun and sea breeze. Where last year there were caravans and tents, awnings and fire pits, fresh grass had sprung up. There was a muffled sound of the sea, and the barrier of the campsite jutted out welcomingly. He hadn't started the season yet. The establishment looked neglected and as if no one was going to work anymore.

Among the sand, sand lilies bloomed wildly and smelled of love. They expected to be ripped off. The sea was the same. Methodically and with the rhythm of eternity, he tried to overcome the land. Winter had filtered the life out of it and now its permanent residents ruled. The filth was streaked along the shore in black streaks of human waste and dead marine flesh. People, full of good intentions, always left behind these black carpets and emphasized their impermanence, and the eternal sea threw them out of itself and returned them to them.

Gone were the innumerable human footprints on the sand, and the sea had, with the help of the wind, rearranged all the details as required by the rules of harmony. Marine architecture, in which every grain of sand is in its place and with its purpose. Some flew from dune to dune frantically searching for their place, and others had found refuge behind the stem of some plant or dry branch. Others swayed with the waves on the shore, wondering whether to stay in the sea or cross to the land side. I left a trail of footsteps and the sea played me again and wet my feet but somehow gently filled my shoes. He wanted to tell me that he was expecting me maybe?

Only the birds watched the sea thoughtfully. Nothing fleeting was left. Transient and ever-changing eternity reigned.
A round red pebble rolled tirelessly with the tide. I took it because it looked like me and put it in my pocket as a memento of myself. Then I left from where I had come and let the sea provoke foreign emotions and whisper to people that they are here for a while! I already understood it and it made me sad! My sea, had remained in my childhood in sparks of memories. It was 11 o'clock at noon!
