Hello friends and I welcome you all through this adventure of My Favorite Fable as organised by @f2i5 and I do hope you enjoy my participation in this regard.

"What is your favorite fable, give a reason"

My favorite fable is the story of the tortoise as we were all graced with lots of takes about the tortoise, his greed and mischievious acts and here is a part of the tale which I would be sharing. The tortoise was a very greedy and all he wanted was everything to himself, one of the days he got invited by the birds, as they were going for an annual activity in the skies, they wanted eloquent and brilliant leader which of course the tortoise possessed. He agreed to their demands.

Moreso, he made an offer that his name be called "All of You" so they all sheepishly agreed to his demands. They all contributed their feathers to beautify the tortoise and also enhance him to soar high effortlessly too. He indeed liked like a leader figure because of the diversity in feather and how beautiful the tortoise looked. All they could do was actually stare at his beauty and elegance.

Furthermore, they all took off on the day of the event, the tortoise soaring gracefully in the skies. When they got to the skies they were welcomed by the celestial beings and the tortoise took the stage speaking so eloquently and making them feel so intrigued and interested. They almost worshipped wisdom emiting his mouth, and decided to honor him for such great skill and gifts. They brought assorted food and drinks and directly told the leader, "This is for all of you" The tortoise grinned in mischief and started devouring the food and drinks served because his name was "All of You".

Interestingly, the birds couldn't take it no more and told him to submit all their feathers as they all have him. He was stranded and sent words to his wife to but beddings soft clothes and mattresses as he was about to land on the hard rocky ground. The raven delivered a wrong message, she asked his wife to put out all the weapons and sharp objects in their reach and borrow from neighbors too. She did that and the tortoise came crashing to his doom! He cracked his shell and that's why he has cracked and ugly shell today. I love the tale because it teaches lots of things ranging from greed, wisdom, lies and a host if other things I'll be sharing too in my post.

"Has the fable influenced your life?"

The fable has influenced my life. After hearing these, I decided to turn my back on greed and mischief. It pays to be transparent and straight forward. Wise words open doors for success and it has been seen in my life today. I got a good paying job courtesy my effort in bring out the best in sales and converting the customers to returning clients due to wisdom and strategy learnt over the years. It's a motivation and it keeps me going.

Ever since I stopped acting mischievious I got more friends in my life. I have had a reason to celebrate and there is a new sense of joy and gladness that bubbles in my heart. It has indeed influenced my life positively. I can now move boldly and like the tortoise address a crowd with wisdom and charisma flaunted around. It's a lesson learnt form the tale and I have put it in my everyday life.

"Give us an idea of the life lesson contained in your favorite fables."

There are lots of lessons in my fable too.
Firstly, it's quite good attach values to yourself investing in knowledge. Then wqs wise and to get wisdom you have to study far and wide read books and learn from people's experiences amongst a host of other approaches. Study to show yourself approved commanding respect and proving yourself.

Moreso, you must have a charismatic and bold sense of approach to situations. The tortoise spoke boldly and that attracted his reward of so much food. Who knows if we can thrill our audience with wisdom maybe and just maybe we could get the best gifts out of life. The bold charisma would open doors of opportunity to you while gracing you with solutions to problems too. Charisma would make you seat before Kings and not mere men.

Conclusively, you must learn not to tell lies, the raven told lies to the tortoise wife therefore we must try not to tell lies because it could be disastrous and dangerous. The lies told did not end well with the tortoise so we should try everything within our powers to say the truth. We must tell the truth at all-time no matter the situation we find ourselves in. Greed is a torment and a malicious one at that. So we must not be greedy as it shuts doors of opportunity in our lives. I do hope you enjoyed my entry.

It is the first time I hear about this fable who wrote it?
With us, in all the fables I know tortoises are wise and they win the race because they never give up.
