||Contest|| "My Art My Creativity Week 18

It is my pleasure to participate in this week contest. I want to do what I like doing most at my leisure, that is drawing and painting. It is one of the things that gives me joy and inspirations as I could translate my mind, imaginations or what my eyes captured somewhere into drawings.

The animals I like talking about is the one that is rampant in my environment base on the present season. I'm talking about frog 🐸.

There are a lot of things that thousands of people do not know about frogs . In this post I will like to briefly explain a little of what I know about them.

Frog is a small animal that has smooth skin, live both in water and land. It has no tail, usually greenish-brown in colour. It has long powerful legs that enables it to jump from one place to another and there are other frogs that has shorter back legs which helps them to walk, hops and crawl, the species with shorter back legs don't jump. One thing I came to realized about frog is that they don’t drink water. These aquatic animals absorb water through their skin. Is this not interesting to hear?

I start my drawing creativity by drawing the head of the frog through the back and also the right eye because this will be the visible part.

I continued till I got the whole drawings, namely; the hind limb, forelimb and the knee. From what you would see in the drawing, though just a sketch, but it look like a frog.🐸

The next step was drawing of the tree that it stood on.

Now that everything is formed, l started colouring from the back of the frog, the knee and forelimb. As you can see also, l use two colours in doing so because frog is greenish-brown.

As I continued colouring the drawing, the real picture comes out.

I use HB pencil to paint the dorsal part of it.

The next thing, I did was to write my username below and frog at the top left. I added small green colour to the drawing for more uniqueness.

Frog has it own economic importance, It serves as prey for certain animals like snakes and some humans. They are also predators in some aspects.With this, I believe that loss of frogs may affect or lead to a fundamental breakdown in a food web with cascading effects throughout an entire ecosystem.
