SEC-S14/W1 - Learn life from animal philosophy.

Hello and welcome to my blog. I hope you are all doing well and enjoying this new season of stermit engagement challenge. Today I am writing a post on a wonderful theme which is about the lessons that will learn from animals in steem of animals community.

Although humans consider themselves as superior beings among all living creatures, which is true to a great extent. However, every living creature has there story to tell. As we delve deep into the existence of animals excluding man, we got some wonderful lessons to learn. Before writing this task , I was influenced by Honey bees. They work very hard to get necter from flowers and the product of their hard work is in the form of sweet honey. The same concept applies here too.

Of the 7 philosophies above, which philosophy do you think suits you? State the reason.

Of the 7 philosophies mentioned above, the philosophy of ants suits me. As has been stated, ants work together to achieve a goal. The culture of working together harmoniously has an inherent power of achieving goals in a given time. I have noticed the power of collaboration in personal as well as professional life. The cordial nature of a collaborative environment increases productivity and efficiency.

It is a matter of common understanding that if one person is given a task of lifting 100 blocks from one place to another over a distance of 50 meters, and then 10 persons are given a task of lifting 500 blocks, although in both scenarios one has to lift 50 blocks from one place to another, in the second case, workers would enjoy working and would be more efficient in completing the task.

Yes, I have implemented the chosen philosophy in life. I have implemented it in my professional life at my workplace, and it has worked wonders. As I joined my hospital as a Medical Officer, I initially saw the work culture there, and to be honest, that was not satisfactory. So, I called a meeting and told employees that my whole philosophy of work experience is based on working in unity. I then explained the concept of division of labor, which beautifully correlates with working in a collaborative environment. I explained to them how we can optimize the available manpower for optimal results. Also, we have seen that available manpower was also relieved of the burden of work and enjoyed working harmoniously.

How will this philosophy influence your life? Explain.

This philosophy has taught me some wonderful lessons in life and therefore has a positive impact on my life. Some of the lessons that I learned are:

• Division of labor: While we work together, there is a division of labor, and so I feel at ease in professional as well as personal life.

• Social Harmony: While we work together in collaboration, it promotes social harmony and good social relations with all. I have developed a friendly relation with all my employees, and a strong social fabric is woven.

• Increased Efficiency and yield of work: In a collaborative environment, work efficiency has increased at the workplace, and not only efficiency but productivity and results have also increased.

• Leadership Skills: As an in-charge of my staff, I have learned some leadership skills because while running a team, different people have different temperaments, and so one has to tactfully handle them all, and in this journey, we grew up as good leaders.

How do you feel after using this philosophy in your life?

Having mentioned various benefits of working together, I feel satisfied in life. At times whenever there is some miscommunication, the importance of the team is realized.

Although working together is a work oriented tactic but it ends up yielding secondary benefits like leadership skills, social harmony, empathetic nature and cordial relations .
