Greetings friends.
This is Shaikh Enamul Islam.
From #Bangladesh.
Assalamualaikum friends. Hope all of you are very healthy by God's grace .Alhamdulillah, I am also well today. Now is the third week of the engagement challenge season-11. And each community has come up with some amazing things for this week's contest. I am very excited for this week engagement challenge. The Steem of Animals Community has given a beautiful topic for this week and that is “Steemit Engagement Challenge S11-W3 | My favorite Fable". Today I have come to share my article with all of you. So friends I hope all of you will like and enjoy reading my article. So without delay let's start.
I grew up reading a lot of fiction stories since childhood. And from each fable we get many educational messages that we see its impact in our real life. And out of that I am sharing with you the name of a fable that I often remember and I always think of it and that is the fable of "The Golden Goose".
We all may be familiar with this fable and we have read that a farmer had a golden egg-laying duck and that duck laid one egg every day but the farmer killed the duck in his greed to get more eggs at once and then he lost everything. This is a very important learning example for us and we often observe the effects of such activities in our real life.
I have read this story countless times and I have seen it on TV as a video. It has really affected me in my life and I try to always keep myself happy and satisfied with what I get and always thank Allah. I never get greedy so I present it to myself as an example and I have seen many real cases of people who lost their maximum due to excessive greed and hope of more profit. So I try to keep myself calm and patient.
Although the stories are fairy tales, there are many things to learn from them. In our childhood, we got to know such fairy tales through our grandfather, grandmother, father, mother, elder brother or sister, teachers and our textbooks, and through these fairy tales, they all taught us the right lessons so that what is good for us and what we should do. What not to do and how to make yourself an ideal person. However, the things I learned from this fable are:
- Too much greed is never good and too much greed brings its own dangers which are never good. And it is true that when we covet too much it leads us to indulge in sin which causes us to face danger in addition to our bad deeds and may cause someone else to suffer. And above all God never likes such a person.
- I think God has made good arrangements for us, we just have to be patient and follow His way and be content with what we have got and thank God for it.
- Thinking of short term gains is never good for us and the chances of losing it are just as high.
I have mentioned before that I read a lot of fable and I also said that every fable sends us a lesson message that surrounds our real life and we constantly notice them. Today I'm sharing a few fable titles that I've worn many times and each one is my favorite:
- A greed farmer.
- The lion and the mouse.
- Two Friends and a Bear.
- The hare and the tortoise.
- Grapes are Sour.
- A thirsty crow.
If I were a father I would surely tell my children fables. I am currently my nephew's uncle and I am also a teacher and I often listen fables to my students and my nephew. I think this is very important for children nowadays as they are now attracted to electronic devices and are moving away from such educational fables. I often tell my students different kinds of fables and among them the fable I tell most of my students is "The hare and the tortoise".

I think it helps a student a lot to motivate him in his studies and I ask him to be focused and diligent in his studies so that even if he is weak he can succeed in his endeavors and efforts. We know that not all students' talents work equally and many take a long time to understand and learn, but if they do not give up and move forward slowly with concentration, they will surely succeed. So surely fable is an important lesson for children that they must know.
This is an excellent contest for me and I am very glad to participated.I hope you all read and enjoyed my article. For this contest I would like to invite my friends @solaymann @waterjoe , @pelon53, @msharif & @goodybest for this nice contest .

Saludos amigo
